and sometimes even love it as a presage of pleasure...

VIVES, the French word for « weevers », is a record label based in Rennes (FR) focusing on electronic music (Techno, Industrial, Ambient, Experimental, Electro, EBM).

Vives or weevers are a family of sea sh that bury themselves in the sand. They have venomous spines that sting people that walks on them. Their stings often cause severe pain that spreads to the bones. For these artworks, the label decided to collaborate with the artist Alexandre Viaud who paints on photos. 

He takes his inspiration from the work of Arnulf Rainer and Jackson Pollock for his way of painting : an instant painting, made of strokes, deposits, to give complete freedom to his painting. Each
piece of music is meant to reect the artwork. 

VIVES label’s first release on Tuesday, June 30th in digital format and tape. In this compilation, the artists Clarence Park, Kronom, Weever and Distant deliver four tracks with a special character, both dark and bright.

This type of music is to be found in every other release of the label which is resolutely open to every genre
of electronic music.

Premiere: El productor y diseñador de sonido con sede en Berlín BLUSH_RESPONSE presenta VOID IN, su primer largometraje completo para MEGASTRUCTURE_.

VOID IN presenta 10 pistas de escultura de sonido meticulosamente elaborada que transmiten al oyente a un mundo de metal líquido atmosférico profundo. Los sintetizadores característicos de Blush crean una paleta de sonido siempre cambiante que fluye y fluye a través del álbum. Las texturas granulares generativas se combinan con voces resonantes y ritmos distorsionados para crear realidades que se contraen y expanden como gravitones en espiral a través de un agujero negro.

Este álbum es una muestra de la destreza de Blush como productor y diseñador de sonido, y presenta otro capítulo más en el mundo en constante evolución de BLUSH_RESPONSE.  Después de haber contribuido con trabajos de diseño recientes a compañías como Arturia y Elektron, Blush continúa con su compromiso con la evolución personal del tímpano. Blush's signature synthetics create an ever changing sound palette that ebbs and flows through the album. Generative granular textures meld with echoing voices and rolling, distorted beats to create realities that contract and expand like gravitons spiraling through a black hole. 

This album is a showcase of Blush's prowess as a producer and sound designer, and presents yet another chapter in the ever evolving world of BLUSH_RESPONSE. Having contributed recent design work to companies such as Arturia and Elektron, Blush follows through on his commitment to personal timbral evolution. Today FLUX is proud to premiere the song System Downfall by the duo MDD (https://soundcloud.com/mdd_noise), the project of Martin Dolgener (https://soundcloud.com/martin-dolgener) and Fahad Ahmad. The song is featured on the second tape release by Drøne (https://soundcloud.com/user-51554854-241003479) entitled CONVENE + OBEY, consisting of four brand new songs of the Canadian duo. 

Rhythmic noise aficionados will remember their full length "Reverse The Contrast" released in 2019 by HANDS. Martin Dolgener also releases music with the project Nixon Helix together with Nicola Cimmino (SHARPLINES (https://soundcloud.com/sharplines) / Nathaniel). Recently, one of their latest songs was included in the first Drøne tape compilation and now they're back with CONVENE + OBEY [Drøne DR0̸0̸2].

System Downfall is a song influenced by rhythmic noise with a strong noise component which makes it sound rough and sharp, enriched by industrial sounds and beats, while sounding contemporary.
