Born in 1987 in Kyoto, currently lives and works in Tokyo.
Creates music inspired by the form and movement of minimalism that lurks in all products, figures, representations, and experiences.
Releases his first vinyl "TAMAYURA EP" from Rora in 2014.
He will release his first remix track from Ada Kaleh Romania in this Summer and his track also will be included in a compilation EP by Croisiere Musique.
His tracks are regularly supported by many good DJs such as Sepp,Zefzeed,Ada Kaleh,Jay Bliss,Dragosh,Roraprod,Juju Marghilano,Jun Akimoto,Raha and many others.

The gaseous remnant of the gravitational collapse and subsequent death of a very massive star in our Milky Way created a supernova remnant, of which the Mermaid Nebula is part. This tiny space of the vast cosmos has now become a star hatchery.

We discovered Kalu in one of the darkest corners of Earth’s electronic undeground. He blessed us with 3 hours of murky baselines, covered in a glaze of minimalistic sounds from a long forgotten era.
