Happy to introduce Pierre Berge-Cia’s “Nuovo Sole” EP, a project that include remixes from Harsh R, MAN2.0, Noform, Penelope’s Fiance and swærm.

Pierre Berge-Cia presents his new release “Nuovo Sole” which will be out on April XX, 2022 on Sinister Desires. Made up of 3 original tracks, this powerful EBM-influenced EP was tailor-made to destroy clubs around the world.

Remixes by Harsh R, MAN2.0, Noform, Penelope's Fiance and swærm, are combining downtempo, dark electro and body techno, creating an eclectic release by bringing unique atmospheres to each track.

Produced in several phases, the EP was inspired by natural sounds mixed with mighty textures, a clever combination reworked in the studio of his friend Lesser-Of in London to get the best out of each mix:

“I took advantage of an isolation in the countryside to refine each piece. During this period, I made sure that my music was not biased by any outside influence. KŐVÁRI is the third chapter of the BRVTAL compilation series that sets memory of Hungarian architecture and brutalism with 14-track contributions by international and local artists.

György Kővári (1934-1982) is the most mysterious figure of the among Hungarian architects in the last 60 years, who built characteristic and well known buildings like Déli train station (1961-62, 1969), Balatonfüred train station (1967-72), Skála (1982) at Nyugati square or not long ago demolished Kőbánya-Kispest metro and train station (1980), just to mention a few. He never gave interviews, he did not talk much about his works in public, and his oeuvre was not even discussed yet. It looks like he only lived for planning buildings in his short life, so it's not a surprise after university he started working at MÁV Design Institute as an architect, later becoming its leader until his death. Furthermore he was chief architect of METROBER in the '70s, where he also worked on the development of transport hubs in Budapest.

We are glad that a lot of new and some returning artists join their forces on this diverse techno compilation with which we commemorate another and underrated iconic figure of the local brvtalism.

Kabocha is the new music project by DJ and producer @Substencia and the mysterious noisemaker Ypaul de Quarse.
A collaboration of two long time friends who combined their influences to create a quasi cinematographic work. We dive into a unique sound universe, where intense ambient noises mix with melancholic layers to create a dark and captivating atmosphere. We are transported in a ghostly world where industrial noise sounds are skillfully mixed with elements of japanese music worthy of a Noh theater and modern synths. 
Produced between 2021 and 2023, this EP reminiscent of doom and metal ambiences, and in a cold and intense industrial post-techno style.

The title 'Myth Machine' demonstrates all the richness of meanings that gives us words connected by genitive case: if you want, read it 'The Mythical Machine', or "The Machine Creating Myths".

Ambiguity here plays into our hands. This epic compilation by NEN Records is dedicated to myths as a ways of giving meaning to the suffocating meaningless reality. It is devoted to narratives, coherent or broken, that each of contributors create by their own lives. Perhaps, therefore, the release turned out to be so poly-stylistic, and there is nothing to be surprised at.

And of course, behind all these narratives, lurks the shadow of a huge and hardly perceived Machine, which severely cuts off the plot lines and - arbitrarily, it would seem, draws new ones.

Note: All tracks on the compilation are created on electronic machines of varying complexity, each of which, for sure, has a hidden desire to tell its own machine myth (and you can even distinguish it).

This is the return of the collaborative project ‘VOFA’, by Sawf and ANFS, on Pi Electronics. The Athens based duo, that put out the label’s debut release, deliver another 4-tracker of their signature sound for the 5th Pi record. PI05.1 is a bass line oriented composition of thrilling beauty, while PI05.2 and PI05.4 provide different takes on the main PI05 theme: one leaning closer to UK breaks’ influences and the other closer to industrial, hard hitting broken beats. Pi05.3 offers a driving tool of distorted realities and tuning bass lines. All tracks showcase further focus on sound texture and dynamics’ balance, providing a perfect blend of Sawf and ANFS in joint forces as VOFA.

This second opus focuses on ‘Industrial’ music through a variety of genres and interpretations of the genres aesthetics. Opening with an infused four to the floor selection cut with a slice of power ambient, the compilation evolves into a rawer shape, with industrial, noise that embraces either nihilistic or romantic intentions.

Taking a look at music that is influenced by a genre, created in the times where the concept was created, helps us to grasp the links between the theory and music, both inspired by the development of technologies and its influences on both personal and societal aspects.

During his career Ah Cama-Sotz has carved a niche for himself as one of the darkest industrial acts around. His music is steeped in a multitude of mythology, occultism and bloody history, which lend a context and significance to the individual works that is noticeably absent from a lot of contemporary industrial / noise music. The past 26 years (1993 - present) have seen the Ah Cama-Sotz sound progress from cold, minimalist electronics through to dark ambient soundscapes and pounding techno floor-fillers.

Ah Cama Sotz - Premonition [Area Z]

Isolate is a project oriented to the dynamics of existing connections between man and the universe, translated into musical frequencies. Musical productions are the result of an alchemical process that transforms emotions into music (without following a particular "school" that explains how to do "something"), but listening to the instincts of the moment. His live performances are a continuous and sophisticated journey through the contamination of different musical genres, creating a surreal atmosphere where the only goal is to work on the deep emotions of their listeners.

The alchemy of techno is forged with a variety of tools. In darkened concrete crucibles, flowering tongues of light leap lapping across flesh slick with sweat, as bass hammers the shape of the sound into the minds throbbing within. In a city that both reveres and takes such institutions of arcane aurals as commonplace, what revelations may yet be gleaned on the dance floor?

The sonic world of Halv Drøm delve deep into this burning question. Weaving science and spirituality into well-established engines of industrial, EBM and post-punk, Saxon Jorgensen’s work seeks to break out of the confines of “dark” music (by this point an overused descriptor, particularly in these crumbling times) to shape something far more imperious and personal. Whereas techno is so often used as a sledgehammer, Jorgensen wields it like an ice-sculptor with a chainsaw.

Rooted in an appreciation of personal magick and political upheaval, accordingly a strong DIY aesthetic is Halv Drøm’s backbone. Field recordings, guitars churned into shrieking maelstroms, binaural frequencies that sidle beneath waves of polyrhythmic experimentation, and a willingness to go beyond comfortable dance patterns are all in play here. Modern electronics and ancient chakra tonal systems form a ritual of harsh healing; imperative in our time.
