[super45.fm] VATIOS mix_

Originally from WV, I moved to Dayton, Ohio in 2013. Fortunately, this led to more accessibility to shows/scenes that weren't so prominent where I'm from. I would call my sound style a concoction of ambient, drone, and noise...for this Hearse Case Scenario project anyhow. I use the term Ambientdronoise. I have a few other projects that have various amounts of each of these elements, 
depending on the project. Prior to now, I have put out Noise releases under Stalk Market, Conviction Notice and Nephesh. On the ambient side of things, I recently started releasing material under the moniker Pharos, which has gotten decent reception. But Carbon Son has been my main ambient drone project since late 2019. I started that project first, mainly due to my fascination with ambient and drone music. Afterwards, it seems that it was in the cards to 
incorporate some Noise textures in there, hence creating the other projects. Moving forward with Noise, I'll be performing as Hearse Case Scenario mainly although I may pull a Stalk Market track out of the blue occasionally.

ASON TEVA (Hebrew for "natural disaster") is a Tel Aviv-based producer and DJ, who has released music on labels like Confused Machines (@confused-machines), Reluctant Celebrity (@reluctantcelebrity), DREAM BABY DREAM (@dreambabydreambar) and Tofistock (@tofistock).

He played live and deeyayed in many Tel Aviv clubs and bars, including The Block, Alphabet, Breakfast Club, Teder, K Bar and Uganda.

As a producer and DJ, ASON TEVA's sound can be both experimental and melodic, touching on many genres such as ambient noise, minimal wave, techno and electro.

The newest DJ set  for our PLAY. podcast servies was prepared by Bratislava based DJ ANK. ANK has been involved in electronic music scene since early 2000`s when he hosted many festivals and events. In 2001, when the already legendary Czech magazines Trip - mag and X - mag and mixed CDs came into his hands, this experience affected him so much that electronic music became his everyday addiction. In the beginning, as a clubber he attended well-known clubs and events all over Europe, which created a desire to organise his own event. It's the year 2005 and, with the strong support of DJ Andy K (Andre Tribale), he orgaised his first event called Cream Biscuit Open Air, where with the help of Andy K, he stood behind the mixer for the first time. He had a break from organising events for several years, focusing mainly on finding his right musical path. He started playing active in 2009 and he returned behind mixing desk at Music is The Answer. At the end of 2010, he founded the project Music: Affair, whose main direction is house music, where local names have performed. In 2011, he organised his second big Open Air under the brand Music: Affair, where 12 DJs performed and he played at the open air event BeeFree for the first time. In 2016 Ank founded Asfalt Soundsystem together with bbk (David Cierny). Same year he become a part of Serbian project Lobotomija and year after he established Derivate (Asfalt Soundsystem) warehouse party which takes important role in Bratislava nightlife. Ank is founder of OLAM collective platform (https://soundcloud.com/olam_collective) that emphasises uniqueness in the local sphere. Collective that combines an artist’s potential with the opportunities to represent themselves in between new waves of sub-communities searching for something deeper than what they have been used to up to now. Grateful for being in right circumstances he visited many places and meet people that influenced his current music presentation. He is the creator and the seeker of an atmospheric and vivid soundscapes. The flashing light and enigmatic sets are his trademark. #ANK is here to cut the dark.....His nearly 100-minute set today is a proof of that.
