De La Suda - Modus

This short piece was lost in the digs for almost exactly 6 years.

It reflects our intuitions and feelings, in a beautiful, simple and curious time, where it was easier to feel positive about our own emotions. There was a seemingly seamless chaotic routine in our diverse little interconnected beachside neighbourhood, and I feel for just a minute, we somehow captured the majestic energy we shared with each other and the ever-still inspiring community around us.

Here can be heard the emotional, expressive and dynamic tones and rhythms of Shani Zadunaisky: on saxophone and drums, mixed and accompanied by Josh Fooks (HAMANOF): on bass and keys. Without any change or polish at all since it was spontaneously recorded and arranged in March 2019. 

In addition, much inspiration and contribution of talent to the magic was made by Ran Kantarovich, all in our treetop palace on the 'sdera' in Yafo: both in this era and also to this short, never-to-be-finished piece.

Reach Out Records is a not-for-profit label based in Seoul, South Korea. Working together with local producers, DJs, and brands, the label aims to raise money for local charitable causes through the release of curated compilations and events. 

For our first release, we've compiled a selection of acid, electro and breaks from some of Seoul's finest underground music producers. 100% of the profits made from compilation sales will go to a good friend of Seoul's music community, Tarek. He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and needs to generate funds to pay for his hospital treatments. Since this news became public, it’s been incredibly heartwarming to see many people in the community (and beyond) working together to help him. Hopefully we can do a little bit more to support a friend who needs it!

The tracks heard here and on other platforms are the life works of a young musician, who left his far away homeland for an ever-so-sunny spot on the coast in the Middle East; with nothing more than a bag of scrubby clothes and an old laptop for making beats. 

Seven years and many fresh tracks, collaborations and other interesting life projects later, he decided to publish everything online... 

It will be/was drip fed here alongside other new creations: week after week, throughout 2025.
