HARDCORE HATES CANCER is a tribute to Brandon "Okidam" Okamoto — a talented producer, devoted father, and cherished brother in the rave community. Oki lost his battle to cancer on October 31st, 2023.

Oki leaves behind his wife Christiana, daughter, two sons, and many friendships from around the world. His final project was a powerful one — uniting close friends and favourite producers to remix his tracks in a celebration of his sound, his love, and his strength.

All proceeds from this album will go directly to support Brandon’s surviving children and the Barrett family — close friends also deeply impacted by cancer.
This is more than a remix album; it’s a tribute, a memory, and a legacy.

Saiyan was a normal teenager, until one fateful day at a science exhibit he was bitten by a radioactive hardcore DJ, gifting him with incredible powers. Speed, strength, the proportionate drinking prowess of ten normal men, and the ability to turn comic book origin stories into DJ bios, are just some of the fantastic abilities granted to him.

So of course he turned his powers to cartoonish supervillainy, as you do. And it was good.

But after years of using his gifts for evil to great effect, he grew bored, and sought a new challenge. That challenge came in the form of taking over managing Luna-C's iconic KFA Recordings imprint, a position he was uniquely suited for due to being just the right amount of batshit crazy. And it was also good.

This mix contains a selection of upcoming KFA releases from now into 2019, with a few bits from recent releases such as Kniteforce Radio All-Stars, Ghoul Skool, and The Triple Threat sprinkled in for good measure, all mixed up in Saiyan's trademark quick-mixed style (with a bit of three deckery to speed things up for good measure).
