Starting this multiform release with the young wizard from Tel Aviv Olsvangèr with his 'Jelly Dumbo' remix. A hypnotic burner; slow and psychedelic ride.
Mexican dancefloor master Tyu with his Ritmomix. Name says it all; heavy groove, sleazy percs, groovy bass and a pitchshifting oscillator to glue it all. A real dance floor weapon.
Last but not least, on of the gems from Düsseldorf, Lucas Croon serves us his 'Misterio' remix. A cinematic take driven by acid basslines and extremely killer drums.

From the cosmos of Stretford on the outer realms of Manchester comes the kaleidoscope view of the world according to Psychederek and it's an explosive trip of shoe gaze soaked balearica on this super limited vinyl release!

Lead track Screamadereka heads straight into orbit from the get go with a stop off to thank the likes of The Cocteau Twins & Death In Vegas for their influence along the way. Huge drums, spaced out synths, warped guitars & a fully charged love in style vocal all wrapped up in a mushroom flavoured microdot with a pretty empowering finale.

I'm Alright steps up the ante a bit more and goes all Tomorrow Never Knows on us but with added warehouse acid squelch & rasps throbbing out from a beat that is broken (but not break beat!) whilst still retaining the psychedelic tendencies of its predecessor.  

Sean Johnston steps off the ALFOS rocket ship and joins forces with Duncan Gray for their Hardway Bros Meet Monkton Disco Dub take of Screamadereka and the result is a hive of cosmic mutant disco brilliance whilst Manchester's finest 6 piece See Thru Hands turn I'm Alright into bombastic focused UKG style wig out duet complete with new vocal takes by DNCN for seriously wonky floors & like minded souls.

For the digital release there is also an extra helping from Hardway Bros & Monkton where they ramp up the wonk factor & go even more horizontal than the original!

Limited vinyl release comes with an incredible exclusive insert drawn by Manchester local artist Emma Evans and features a visual interpretation of the Space Arcade E.P.

We are proud to present the nineteenth instalment of our Disco Suicide mix series by UK-based Stevie R (@stevie-r) & Parisinos (@Parisinos)!

Stavros Potamitis (aka Stevie R) conjures emotion and weaves sonic tales by combining the rebetiko folk music of his Greek homeland with analogue electronics. Working with a range of collaborators he offers forward thinking, avant-garde music and daring, theatrical live performances that freely blend and cross over between musical styles. As well as being a musician, producer and performer, Stevie is a lecturer at Point Blank Music College in London, runs his own record label Inside Out Records and is A & R of Chapter 24 Records. Always looking to push musical and sonic boundaries, he is just as relentlessly focused on moving things forward in his own work as he is committed to supporting the next generations to break through.

Born and raised in Nicosia, Cyprus, Constantinos Parisinos moved to the UK in early 00’s to study medicine. Electronic music quickly formed a gateway of expression. An obsessive collector of obscure melodic gems with an inherent attraction for repetitive sequences and slower, hypnotic rhythms; an enthusiast for the unconventional and the diverse underground music culture. 

Apart from his solo endeavours, Parisinos has formed a formidable sonic partnership with Stavros Potamitis (Stevie R). With a focus on blending Greek folk music (Rembetiko), mesmerising vocals and middle eastern scales with slower rhythms, acid lines and powerful percussion, their distinct sound captivates and hypnotises dancefloors. Together, they also release more experimental music under their more enigmatic alias After Altamont. Stavros Potamitis and Constantinos Parisinos are also harnessing their vision of electronic music through their label Inside Out Records. Aims for next year include a new live act and album.

Parisinos has worked with leading underground artists including Lena Platonos, Tolouse low Trax, MR TC, Anatolian Weapons, Zombies in Miami, A Strange Wedding and many more...

As Roam Recordings approaches its 100th release, label boss Jason Peters returns with three originals for the 99th. The title track - Broken - is a heavy, mid tempo chugger lead by distorted guitars and analog synths for a dark and moody romp. Picking up the tempo is Time Division with its crossover of indie dance, dark disco, and techno heard through its driving arps and warped soundscapes over a pulsating rhythm. Rounding it out is Trifecta that again hops genres with a bit of italo and 90s rave in the mix. The EP is backed by two excellent remixers - Roam alumni and Indonesian electronic music maestro Jonathan Kusuma and South Korean rising star Shubostar. Up first is Shubostar who brings up the tempo of the title track with a breakbeat while keeping it dark and mysterious. Jonathan Kusuma takes on Trifecta and moves it into heady psychedelic electro territory with his bass mix.

After a first volume released in September 2020 on Hard Fist, Argentinian @balamok comes with “Chants of Pachamama (Part. 2)”, including a remix by Matias Aguayo.
This time Balam focuses on the experience around the ritual of magic plants that is practiced in the deep South-American rainforest. By mixing modular synth, stromping basslines, haunting vocals and real played percussions produced in his studio “Submarea” in Buenos Aires, he recreates a psychedelic trip from beginning to end

The lyrics are rooted in one of Carl Sagan’s most haunting and relevant psychological insights:
