Creative offspring of the musical fantasies of @Tushen_Rai and @CorneliusDoctor, Hard Fist brings together a passionate, supportive and activist party scene. Celebrating a globalized - but far from rootless - dancefloor where Turkish psychedelia, Lithuanian cold wave, Central African percussion and Indonesian polyphonic chants blend, Hard Fist crosses time and borders with a singular attachment to the folk music of trance, the kind that marks spiritual gatherings and festive rituals. Shaping the technological meeting of man and machine, the Hard Fist sound brings the experience as much on the dancefloor as in the calm of a Bedouin tent, always off the beaten track, with a free heart and clenched fists.

Lu is a Berlin-based creative, vinyl selector, and co-founder of The Cave collective in Groningen. With more than ten years of experience behind the decks, she has developed a sound that prioritizes groove, patience, and musical coherence—often moving between minimal house, and breakbeat.

Her path began during her bachelor studies, when she started collecting records and playing at intimate gatherings, guided by a quiet desire to create the kind of sets she couldn’t find elsewhere. Later, while earning a Master’s in Strategic Innovation Management, she continued to refine her approach—playing out consistently without ever pushing for the spotlight. Her focus has always been on the music itself: how it flows, how it connects, and how it feels.

Lu has performed at respected venues including Paradigm (alongside Subb-an), OOST (with Alexander Skancke), Hoppetosse (with Suciu & Automatic Writing), Sisyphos Wintergarten, Farbfernseher, and Social Point Ibiza. In 2022, she joined the opening weekend of Why?Not Club Zanzibar, playing alongside Doudou MD, Jerome Sydenham, and others. She has also supported artists like Carl Craig, Benwal, Selene, Tjade, and Nathan Homan—reflecting the diversity of her influences and adaptability across different dancefloor contexts.

Lu is drawn to extended set formats where she can build a narrative over time. Her ideal is a four-hour set or longer, with a two-hour minimum she sees as necessary for real depth. Whether playing in a club, open-air, or private event space, she brings a sense of timing and calm intention that allows the music to unfold naturally.

Her approach is quiet but committed. With a strong connection to the underground and a preference for supporting community-driven projects and emerging venues, Lu continues to share her sound in ways that feel authentic—always grounded in curiosity, craft, and care.
