Unknown Tribe welcomes Anthony Asher-Yates's musical project Bålsam on it's 4th CD release. With "Subtropic Year" Bålsam takes us on a journey to where he has been living for the past 2 years -mountains of Colombia- and his very personal mystical experience he had during the creation of this album

"Subtropic Year , is an album created under the mysterious energy of my first child growing in her mothers womb and the powerful experience of our labor and homebirth.
Many of these songs are composed of field recordings taken from the subtropical region of Valle del cauca, ( Colombia) on the road to the Pacific ocean

..where we have lived for the last 2 years."
