Today’s podcast is delivered by Alfonso Pomeda aka F-on. It is 2 years already when we heard him for the first time on the second annual edition of Parallel festival in Spanish Pyrenees. We couldn’t imagine a better spent afternoon with the deep downtempo and dub-infused vinyl set that he performed. This mix which was recorded exclusively for our series carries very similar mood and reminds us the remarkable time we had there. 
What is for sure worth to follow is his label Alpenglühen. This relatively new project adheres to the downtempo concept and offers slower music, that can be delighted without a rush. Alpenglühen003 by Vand coming soon!

We are very glad to host for this new episode of our mix series, one of our favorite DJs and very good friend Alfonso Pomeda aka @f-ondj . As a true figure and one of the most active persons we ever met, F-on is a model when it comes to knowledge and passion in electronic music.  Alfonso has been running for a few years one of our favorite record stores in Madrid that has turned to an online store only since a year. He is also behind a couple of labels such as Antimatter or Alpenglühen. He has founded a new series of parties called @calmamadrid with his close friends dedicated to develop listening sessions of Ambient music in the Spanish capital.
As a regular at Paral-lel Festival (hope you didn’t miss his latest set for their online edition a couple of weeks ago) or at clubs in Spain or abroad, Alfonso is well known for his long downtempo journeys which can also be very intense. 

Some good news, he is releasing very soon an EP together with Kawn on Antimatter. 

He delivered for our mix series a 3:20 of experimental, ambient and dark progressions and we are really fond of it. Thank you Alfonso <3

In the season leaves should love,
since it gives them leave to move
through the wind, towards the ground
they were watching while they hung,
legend says there is a seam
stitching darkness like a name.

Now when dying grasses veil
earth from the sky in one last pale
wave, as autumn dies to bring
winter back, and then the spring,
we who die ourselves can peel
back another kind of veil
that hangs among us like thick smoke.

Tonight at last I feel it shake.

I feel the nights stretching away
thousands long behind the days,
till they reach the darkness where
all of me is ancestor.

I turn my hand and feel a touch
move with me, and when I brush
my young mind across another,
I have met my mother's mother.

Sure as footsteps in my waiting
self, I find her, and she brings
arms having answers for me,
intimate, a waiting bounty.

"Carry me." She leaves this trail
through a shudder of the veil,
and leaves, like amber where she stays,
a gift for her perpetual gaze.

This week, Klara brings her inner energy to your home stereo, headphones or car. Across 60 minutes there is an astounding journey carrying you through various sorts of lower pitched patterns and frequencies. Coming from Skopje, North-Macedonia, Klara unfolds her sonic expressions and creativity not only in the form of dj sets, but also with live performances. This multidisciplinary art is shaped by her background in psychology. 

The recording she prepared for us includes an interesting selection of tracks which will undoubtedly help you dream away. Enjoy.

Our next artist is an emerging DJ from Milan, Italy. She began her career as a DJ in 2011 when she was working in a club in Córdoba, (Argentina) that two years later when she returned to Buenos Aires her hometown led her to study a career as a DJ-producer at "Arjaus" Electronic Music School.
E L A is a blend of slow techno captured with ambient soundscapes and subtle rhythms full of surprising change. The psychedelic nuances of its selection create constantly fresh atmospheres. Its sounds are delicately hypnotic, engaging rhythms, and timely transitions.

La ‘escucha atenta’ (attentive listening) represents above all paying attention and concentrating on what is being heard. It requires a willingness to follow the reasoning of what is being told. The listener does nothing more than that: listen, interpet and understand. It is essential that the message is cordially accepted by the listener, as it is, creating a context of closeness and trust that facilitates the exchange of ideas from those who need to express themselves.

From a glacial surrounding, completely isolated and with nothing more than the blizzard strumming. An introspection from the deepest edges of oneself through the ascension to the clouds. A continuum of imaginary mental antonyms from cold / hot, human / non-human, good news / bad news, brightness / darkness, peace / war, freedom / slavery, antiquity / modernity, security / insecurity, gentleness / ferocity, looseness / tenseness…are just some of the crossroads we had when we listened to Alfonso’s storyline.

His progressive sessions, profound and with long mixes, are real voyages that sail through experimental music, ambient and horizontal and dubby techno.
His productions are 4x4 experiments of low tempo with field recordings and marked spaces, where he explores timbres, textures and cinematographic structures. He is resident at the Alpenglühen and Taiga sessions and owner of the label Antimatter together with Bule.
He is running as well, Alpenglühen, the label; and co-running Downbeat, Memories on Wax and Eleve.

Since 2014, we organise site-specific, audiovisual events that are morphed by our hand into zones of sparkling joy and sonic enchantment.

We are passionately distributing vibration both on the dance floor and while pressing music on records, however, what we appreciate the most is the community that gathered around us over time. Without our friends and cooperating artists, it would be rather difficult to identify any spirit of the organisation.
