What a brilliant transition, dropping Randomer's Smokin', one of my favorites!

Dixie, Gabriel LMRN, Münch, Outburst Knobs, Podbielski, Viels and Mattafunk form a collective better known as Acquario. The cultural hub Masada is the home base for their event series. And within the Acquario, everything moves to a different tune. It is a safe and vibrant world in which you immersed yourself naturally, getting lost for hours between slow and wild movements, sounds and harmonies from the abyss. You could imagine those in total silence, still and calm, neatly painted onto the canvas of the earth. But it’s another world here, on a constant move, particles of sand dancing frivolously to the rhythm in the wind. And despite the harmless look, dunes engulf anything inevitably until they reach the sea. Waves endlessly entangled in the sand and sea coexistence in harmony.

Native from the middle French land, vinyls activist from 2000’s ending,
A.Silentio started to make music to work one’s way up on his local scene
before to be part of the new young Parisian’s scene with the Moebius and
firstly Drom crew.
Based in Lyon, he was the first head of Partition Libre team, who made some
events with artists such as Mike Parker, Kangding Ray, Neel, Korridor, Dimi
Angélis, or Takaaki Itoh just to name some of them.
Resident artist and part of Château Perché Festival and Perchépolis label
as Artistic Director and Stage Manager from 6 years, he's also the
co-founder of the trippy Totem Rituel collective.
Also hypnotherapist, his music is driving by the "body and soul" spirit,
influenced by the psychedelic wave, organic sounds and artists as Sandwell District, P.A.S, Muslimgauze, Donato Dozzy and more.

In 2007, he started the Edit Select record label which has since yielded an output that is consistently high in both quality and popularity amongst the cream of the techno crop. Since then he has released on Ostgut Ton, Figure, CLR, Electric Deluxe. All tracks were played by every big name dj Marcel Dettmann, Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Speedy J, Len Faki, Chris Liebing, Luciano, Villalobos, Sven Vath and many more .

Tony has played at some of the world's best clubs including Space Ibiza, Berghain, Fabric, The Loft, Sub club, The Arches.

2011 promises to be an exciting year, with new remixes and releases with the techno communities best artists and labels material and with his 2011 Dj schedule he looks forward to spreading his sound around the globe.

Born in 1990. Originally from Kochi prefecture, now residing in Tokyo. He started organizing his own nights in 2011 where he honed his dj skills. Playing anything from classic to cutting-edge tracks, his smooth mixing brings a unique tension and intonation to the ﬂoor through individualistic loops. By gaining his reputation through his dj sets and an insatiable pursuit of the techno scene led him to play regularly in Osaka as well as various venues in mid and West Japan. 
As an organizer he has brought over many prevalent modern techno artists such as Claudio PRC, Ness, Luigi Tozzi and Refracted, in order to evolve the techno scene in Japan. In 2014 he moved to Tokyo where he linked up with his main partner Kannabi to start the techno party Katharsis. 
In recent years his music production skills have ﬂourished, hence, set up the label Katharsis Recordings. The ﬁrst release is sprit 12 from the Label founder Masafumi Take and Kannabi. Also include Iori and Takaaki Itoh remix. The Second release will be out in May on vinyl. 
He is recognized as the next generation to take up the techno mantle in Japan.

MNMT 191: Ntogn (Midwinter mix)

Ntogn is a techno project developed by Hypnus Records' founder Michel (b. 1988, Sweden) since early 2013. It aims to weave together modern sound design techniques with a fascination for dragons, shamanism and the occult. This has resulted in what Resident Advisor's William Lynch describes as "fierce, artistic techno that sounds like little else out there" and a discography ranging from hard repetitive deep techno to dark, throbbing ambient excursions. As a DJ-performer, meticulous care is given to harmony and progression in order to create a comprehensive and captivating journey through melodic ambience to harsher hypnotic techno currents. Over the last few years, this has earned Ntogn the recognition not only as a respected label manager and authentic producer, but also as an inspiring DJ appearing in several prominent clubs around the world such as Khidi (Tbilisi) and Elysia (Basel). His most recent 12-inch record Sathurnus: I (2017) caught a notable 4/5 review on Resident Advisor and scattered projects over the previous years include collaborations with fellow Hypnus adepts Luigi Tozzi and Feral, remix duty on Retina.IT's vinyl EP Octagon and a VA appearance alongside the Swedish techno phenomenon Shxcxchcxsh.

It’s always a HUGE honour for us to be able to feature the recording of a DJ or live set in our podcast series - capturing a unique and very special moment in time for the artist, and all the lucky merrymakers fortunate enough to experience it; where it feels like the recording is infused with the energy of that moment, so that you can practically hear, see and feel it all as if you were there. 

We’re super stoked therefore to bring you a recording of the live set performed by Eyvind Blix at this year’s La Vallée Électrique (podcast #093). 

Picture an idyllic setting, 500 happy souls locked together in a celebration of nature, music, life, and your soundtrack is this absolute beauty, keeping you shimmying and shaking in all the right ways as you’re engulfed in a heady state of ethereal bliss, where in that moment, everything just seems to make sense.

Sigh.

“It’s hard to describe in words, but wow…. It was so magical, in all aspects… and it was in the middle of the night, you could taste the dawn in the end of the set. I felt I could really stretch the sound and just let it be very monotonic.”

Heck, we really do get it... nope, we can feel it… the subtlety of the groove and delicate shifts whispering “come with me”, encircled with delicious percussions igniting your senses and pulling you into a warm embrace.
