London duo @thec90s-1 first gained recognition with the release of their disco anthem of a track "Shine A Light" which was laters successfully remixed by Australian outfit @flightfacilities. They are now about to launching some new originals over the coming months but to start things off we here at Discobelle can premiere their remix of the single track "Possibilities" (will be released via @neonrecords March 23rd) from Danish house producer/dj @Flip. 

The track pops off with a nu-disco feel leaning towards the warm synth end of things with lush vocals courtesy of @elou-elan.

Kindisch warmly welcomes In Colour to the tribe with his beautifully crafted EP, Unfold. ‘Surfacing’ peels the EP open with a tech-house flavor. Introducing the track with a bare kick and a bass drop, the subs grab hold and the groove takes shape. The track rises inconspicuously as the vocal bits creep around the edges and sink us into a sweet bliss. From here he plays with our emotions, drifting along his personal soundscape, seducing us to surrender; and absolutely effective. The title track delivers a wonderfully crunchy blend of organics in rhythm. Soon enough, he’s caught us off guard and exceeded our anticipations. Performing vocal magic once again, the track slowly opens itself to reveal its true colors; a soul-soothing ray of hope, of sonic sunshine, of all the beautiful things to come. Holding true to his name, Henry Oldfield has shown us what music sounds like In Colour.

I recorded the lyrics into a 1984 SONY M-10 microcassette recorder. I wasn’t really sure what I was singing, I was just jamming and mumbling, stream of consciousness kind of thing. When entering this kind of trance, my lyrics tend to reflect unsurfaced emotions, and it wasn’t until after I had finished recording that I realised the song was about people that are fake, putting up a façade trying to impress all the time.
