I agree, there is a need to reflect very very deeply on what type of education we need in this type of world we live in. To teach morality is what the education sector should put in as top priority. 

while 'moral eduacation ' is laudable in principle few ii the west account for the 'lag time' in moral reality in various societies/cultures in the 'east' perhaps because we do not yet have a common definition of morality across cultures and societies

this is optimistic poppycock, why? because the majority of these young people will NOT be able to either get jobs or influence decisions related to climate change. Better to offer them practical courses of education along the German Vocational training lines in these esoteric fields while offering 'opt out' clauses if students want to change focus
