Lennart Ginman, born 1960, is a Danish-Finnish string bassist, composer and producer. He has performed on more than 130 album releases. Today, Ginman is one of Denmark’s most respected bassists with an impressive musical CV encompassing many significant projects and noteworthy collaborations with many of Europe’s most important and influential artists. Ginman is a much appreciated composer and producer of modern new music, working with many leading figures in jazz, electronica, rock and progressive techno. He has received countless awards, Grammy’s and commendations for his contemporary interpretation of modern songwriting, successfully combining electronic and acoustic music in a highly personal, dark, moody and filmic sound universe. He has received a three-year grant from the State Arts Council in acknowledgment of his innovative compositions. Ginman’s string bass virtuosity is pivotal to many leading jazz artists and has graced live performances from a broad range of prestigious talents, including Lee Konitz, Kirk Lightsey, Johnny Griffin, Doug Raney, Chris Cheek, Harry "Sweets" Edison, Benny Golson, Jim McNeely, Clark Terry and Kenny Werner. Ginman is a fixture on the Danish music scene, working with Palle Mikkelborg, Dicte, Cæcilie Norby, GinmanBlachmanDahl, Steffen Brandt, Sinne Eeg, Ginman/Eivør and Nikolaj Nørlund among many others. In addition to his numerous collaborations with other artists, Ginman has producedsix albums in his own name, featuring his own lyrics and music. These include the legendary album with Steen Jørgensen: Ginman/Jørgensen. His latest, highly praised album The Color Of Dark with Ginman/Eivor is available on Sony Music, a deeply personal release consisting entirely of Ginman’s own words and music. Ginman is also extremely active performing electronic solo concerts, alone on stage, introducing us to a previously unseen world of processed bass, drum machines, filters, Ableton Live and a heavy dose of groundbreaking effects pedals. In February, 2020, he debuted yet another new experimental electronica project, Ginman Dream Noise. On his current album release, The hOpening, Ginman demonstrates his ability to create music that transcends genre lines as well as national borders. The album is recorded at Jim Barr’s studio (Portishead, etc.) in Bristol and mixed by Alex Krispin (Daniel Lanois, etc.) in Atlanta with music composed and produced by Ginman and Jeppe Gram. It is the first album released by Meta Film Studio, preceding the record you now hold in your hands by Denmark’s finest jazz trio, GinmanBlachmanDahl, made in collaboration with DALI loudspeakers.

Martin Fabricius is a Danish vibraphone player and composer. Martin studied at Berklee College of music in the nineties with Ed Saindon and Gary Burton among others. He has made 7 albums as a leader and co-leader, and has written the music for more than 30 short films.
He lives in Copenhagen Denmark.

Thomas Hass Christensen is a Danish composer, producer and award winning saxophonist, best known for his scores to the TV shows “Good Behavior" and “Jo”. The feature films “Hannibal & Jerry” and “Over Gaden – Under Vandet” (Over the Street – Below the Water).

OKeh short history: 

OKeh was founded by Otto K. E. Heinemann when he set up his own recording studio and gramophone record pressing plant in New York City in September 1918. Heinemann formed the name of the record label "OKeh", from his initials.  OKeh began by issuing popular songs, dance numbers, and vaudeville skits similar to the fare of other labels, but Heineman also wished to experiment with music for audiences neglected by the larger record companies. OKeh produced lines of recordings in German, Czech, Polish, Swedish, and Yiddish for the USA's immigrant communities. In 1920, Ralph Peer's recordings by African-American blues singer Mamie Smith were a surprise smash hit for Okeh. The company perceived the significant, little-tapped market for blues and jazz by African American artists. Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Bix Beiderbecke are only a few names of jazz greats that have recorded for the label. By 1926 Columbia Records bought the label and kept it running into the 60's with jazz and R&B recordings. 

In 1994, Sony Music reactivated the OKeh label as a new-age Blues label. Okeh's first new signings included Keb' Mo, Popa Chubby, and Little Axe. By 2000, the Okeh label was again retired, but in 2013 it will see its re-launch as a jazz label once again.
