Spycker came to Earth in the Dutch town of Zoeterwoude, famous for its beer brewery and its magnificent water tower. After finishing high school, he went to study physics. Frustrated at not discovering the smallest particle around, he decided to join a radical rural community in Northern Bulgaria. 

After 5 years his beard had grown too long and his toenails too soft. He left, but not without a newly-crafted plan: finding the Lord our God. Spycker did actually find God, but he discovered that God was a jealous God, and also very angry with the fact that our hero had neglected his duties at the bi-weekly grain offerings. 

Finally, Spycker decided that it was time to return to his homeland. In a small bordertown, he stumbled across the long-lost songs of the 16th century Flemish troubadour Armelius Klaasz Spycker. Adopting the name of his beloved musical ancestor, Spycker modernized these songs and went on to become another wannabe nobody.

I LOVE ALL MUSIC.
 
I grew up formally voice trained in church and school choirs. 
My 1st instrument instructions where in piano. 

I continue to awake with a tune in my head daily. I write allot of poetry and use a similar form to write and to compose songs. You may hear that here.
I also, have folders full of written material that is slowly turning into fully composed music. You can listen to that here. 
And I continue to wake with a new sketch to write, as the stories are told.

I have been "the lead singer/songwriter." 
for all of my past musical projects 
Past projects include;
"The Electric D" "The Lil Blue Screw" "The New Old Guys" "The FTP:" 
and most recently "The Liquid Sun".
 
I recently picked up the Guitar and started PLAYING and SINGING... 
Really out of necessity .. 
To help me communicate my vocal intentions for tunes to my guitarists and other fellow musicians on all of my musical projects.  

Now I am playing Rhythm Guitar and Vocals on 
"The Electric D"  My 1st solo project.

Recording these tracks with Studio Musicians like Tony Redman playing lead guitar and helping compositions on my 1st LIVE E.P's,  to Charles J.R. playing a century old Mandolin on a newer song "Swedish Smile",  to M.R. C... and other guest appearances, has taught me tons about the music industry and MUSIC as a WHOLE. 
I simply LOVE what I am doing. It's Fun....And you meet the coolest and the craziest people out there... 

I am constantly working forward....With what's new..

And I am currently working with the Studio and several local artists with new tunes and existing ones to create "The Electric D" Album which will lead to another one and so on...

Born in Alexandria, Egypt to a native Egyptian mother and an African-American father born in Memphis, Tennessee. He was brought up in a culturally diverse household where music was an integral fixture. His dad regularly played jazz and blues in the house while his mother was always listening to Egyptian music. At the age of five, two years after arriving in California, he was introduced to a dynamic new sound that left quite a lasting impression. As a young kid, his affinity for hip-hop was nurtured via the sounds of 90s hip-hop figures like The Notorious B.I.G., 2pac, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony as well as Snoop Dogg and Too Short. “ His influences are revealed through his commanding flows and smooth melodic vocals.

Samy Wats has shared the stage opening for the likes of Nipsey Hussle, Ace Hood, and Maino to name a few. In 2013 he toured Japan as the opener for Soulja Boy. Recently Samy has been in the studio cooking up new music with LD (DJ for Sublime With Rome) in the Hollywood Hills and is due to release new music.
