"London based label Natural Selection present their 4th release in the form of a colossal 4-track physical and digital Techno EP, courtesy of Rommek, entitled "Devil's Playground EP". Cut by Simon at The Exchange Vinyl and mastered by Dadub Studios, Berlin. 

Based in London, Rommek has seen his music released by the heaviest of renowned labels such as MORD, ARTS & James Ruskin's Blueprint Records. Rommek returns to Natural Selection after releasing with the label via their widely acclaimed VA compilation fundraiser "In Aid Of Ukraine" in 2022, with his track "All Blood Is Red", which has gained support by some of the most respected DJ's worldwide. 

Since his debut release in 2014, Rommek has creatively expanded his own sound and has firmly established himself within the global techno and experimental scene. His extensive interest in sound design is crafted within the dense atmospheres, heavy broken drums and dynamic tones found within his productions. After various releases that grounded him within the Blueprint family, Rommek then completed his most established work to date, the 'Set In Stone Trilogy' in 2018. The three part release compromises of 12 tracks, original and remixes from key members of the Blueprint team, James Ruskin, O/V/R (James Ruskin & Regis), Broken English Club and Makaton. 

After forming a close connection to Natural Selection in recent years, he has now cemented himself as one of the main front-line artists and residents within the London based imprint."

“CONTRA LOS ÁNGELES”  IS THE NEW EP BY FINALVERSION3

This release on Newrhythmic contains six original tracks including two collaborations with Bøhm and Comarca, and two remixes by Schrzø and Joton.

Spanish producer Finalversion3 returns to Newrhythmic with a new avant-garde electronic exercise, featuring a range of different soundscapes and a hunger for the future that exudes originality. "Against the Angels" is not your typical EP, as it contains six original tracks including two collaborations with Bøhm and Comarca, and two remixes by Schrzø and label boss Joton.

The EP opens with "Hágase la Luz," a hazy and hypnotic ambient landscape completely devoid of beats, where we can highlight a development that starts out dark and dystopian and ends up becoming a hopeful symphony.

After leaving the soft and delicate harmonies of the first track behind, Finalversion3 and Bøhm bring a bomb to the dancefloor, stripping away all delicacy to go straight for the bone with a rough and furious 140 bpm track that, pun intended, fiercely charges "Against the Angels."

The third cut brings "Zarzas Ardiendo," another biblical allegory that descends from heaven to hell to achieve a unique sound and a risky aesthetic. The track is composed of a rhythm reminiscent of UK Garage, with a contagious groove and robotic synths that enter and exit to stun the listener's mind.

"Castigado" introduces us to a young national producer named Comarca who we should definitely keep an eye on, and who signs this collaboration with impeccable taste. A frenzied rhythm that never ceases in its effort to make us dance supports a synthesizer that seems to speak to us with fury and anxiety.

"El Síndrome de las Luciérnagas" closes the EP with a deep and hypnotic track that maintains constant tension while a robust and wide synthesizer sinks the track to the deepest cavernous depths before bringing it back to the surface.

The Schrzø and Joton remixes of "Zarzas Ardiendo" and "El Síndrome de las Luciérnagas" complete this album, providing the personal vision of these two talented producers, who turn both remixes into two true bombs.
