Daft Punk - Homework

I’ve decided to remaster some albums and tracks that have already been released.  Just felt I could give them a different kinda sound...

I import the audio files into the daw and then usually load one or more processors of some kind (vinyl, compressor, desk emulations etc) on the stereo master buss. This is configured to colour, shape the sound. My versions are sometimes lower in vol level than the originals. Some releases are hot to signal, but I'm looking for an inherent sound.

Sometimes I apply some chamber and or hall reverb. 

Live & Dangerous: Boston 1976, released 2001

I took out some lyrics from Igziabeher (Let Jah be praised),

Tosh is referring to the enemies of Yihweh here, that is those that hate him having come to see (Israelis* 6 4 - 8), having then blasphemed his sacred spirit - those that are evil.
In the first part of the two verses Peter calls on Elohim** to annihilate those that are evil by way of brimstone and fire, i.e. something like sulphuric fire. There’s then the lyric ‘We gonna kell them dead.’ Yihweh deals with those that become evil in the way that he does, and in these end/beginning times that is outlined in the book of Revelation.
However the call is always to forgive others, even the evil. One cannot like or love an evil person, one forgives them where it happens, that one does not become sinfully angry with them.

** the Israeli name, whereby proxy is God

I also edited to take out some onstage dialog, where there was a mention regarding the Rastafarian religion. Peter Tosh has been redeemed and born another time, is in Shamayim, is awaiting resurrection. It wasn’t he who mentioned the Rastafarian deal on this album, it was someone else. When he sings on this he’s referring to Yihweh, and when he uses the proxy name Jah, he was not referring to the Rastafarian false god.
The name Jah is found in the King James bible, tehillah* 68 4

(Rec November 19–21, December 4, 1975)

For the remist I retitled the piece, Rolling Thunder.

Remist cover photo is same as original - Dylan, 1975. 

The Rolling Thunder Revue comprised two tours of the United States by Dylan with an assorted group of muscians/artists. The first - the American northeast and Canada, in the autumn of 1975.
The second - the American south and southwest, spring 1976.

The band played to halls, theatres, auditoriums, arenas etc.

Dylan came up with the name rolling thunder for the tour after having heard the continuous sound of thunder on a particular day.
