What's up SoundCloud?! My name is Alex Nieves but my peers call me MC LexXx. I'm an underground rapper/singer, living on my own, and making music as a means of keeping my sanity. Really on the edge sumtimes peoplez....moving on, I was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and I grew up in "Silk City" Paterson, NJ. Life wasnt always peaches n cream but music was one thing I could always depend on to make it sweet. I'll listen to pretty much any type of music, depending on my feeling at the time and if the music is genuine. Thats one thing I love about SC, there's alot of artists here doing their thing and striving for perfection. Giving artists an outlet and bringing it all together, It's a beautiful thing, gotta love it. I record with bare minimum equipment and have a highly pressurized hectic life to keep me hot on my toes but I'm always down to collab if the music is on point. What I want most out of this career is making music people will love as much as we love making this music.
The Project:
I Wanted to let you guys in on the big project. Follow me on SC to hear tracks going towards my first mixtape: "Hip-Hop Wars: Return of the MC". It's a Star Wars type concept mixtape involving a master MC traveling through the musical universe. He journeys through many genres and only by channeling the mystical "flow" does he conquer the evil industry empire trying to oppress artists everywhere. It's pretty out there, I know .... Aaannywhoo,
