Astroloop’s debut solo outing opens up with the title track ‘Right Before’, a moody and muscular take on deep house that gradually builds tension and suspense throughout its six-minute duration. The track is followed up soon after with a stellar remix from two gifted Mexican producers, Theus Mago & Moisees, who bring the distorted vocal parts to the foreground while decorating the track with additional percussion, effects and melodies. The result retains the driving momentum of the original while viewing Astroloop’s productions through a beautifully twisted perspective.

FHR014 - Black Mami - Tokyo Express

Mexico’s Duro label are set to release the first EP from local talent Undefined Pattern, backed with remixes from Damon Jee and Jenia Tarsol.

‘El Desespere’ comes after Undefined Pattern’s debut on the Disque Discos 'DISCORROR IX' compilation and is inspired by the stress and paranoia of living in Mexico. It features three intensely atmospheric tracks with remixes by Damon Jee and Jenia Tarsol.

The fantastic title track gets things under way on a rugged bassline and illuminating synths that speak of a busy urban metropolis. It’s a rumbling disco ride that really takes you somewhere. The dark and heavy disco vibes continue on ‘Estrex Humano’, with its crisp hits and urgent bassline. Edgy synth loops bring the tension and add plenty of drama before ‘Intenxa Salida’ offers a sparser and eerier track, with dystopian, searching synths and melodic details off in the distance that suggest human life amongst a late night urban landscape.

Frenchman, MORE associate and 90s veteran Damon Jee flips ‘Estrex Humano’ into a slow burning and steamy disco stomper with libidinous female vocals, courtesy of Ravintsara and broad synth sweeps. Lastly, ‘El Desespere’ as remixed by Blue Shadow Records boss Jenia Tarsol is a chugger with big rock licks and a filthy bassline.

This is a compelling EP from the fast rising Undefined Pattern and another great package from contemporary disco tastemakers Duro.

The first EP - Chomp! Chomp! presents the debut of Golden Mammals - a collaboration between Eric from America and Chittom. Eric is a multi-instrumentalist and electronic producer with a unique style that pulls from a variety of genres. He is also an active drummer for TV Baby (with members of A.R.E. Weapons), as well as several other bands in New York and past projects in Hawaii.

The EP has three original tracks and a remix. "An Hour a Day with You” blends acid house and techno with an obscure leftfield vocal by Chittom. The remix is a dubby techno slow-burner that will work in a variety of settings. On the other side, with two tracks by Eric from America, "At the Met Gala" & "For the Crowd” are two groovy techno-ish tracks with Eric’s unique touches - both are dancefloor and living room friendly. The EP is mixed by Justin Van Der Volgen and Kenji Shimoda, mastered by Rick Essig of REM Sound. Artwork by Dusty Gibbons.

The Compilation starts off with Alberto de Angeli aka AHEADACHEADAY. A dark slow motion synth laden track with Burundi beat undertones. 
Tel Aviv’s Eliezer collaborated w/ Zillas on Acid on Anna Bella. The vocals are by Isadora. The song is trippy, hypnotic and percussive.
M Love’s Price is his 3rd release on Relish. New World was featured on REPIX. New Wave and Krautrock infused techno for the momentarily absent dancefloors.This time a bit harder and less melodic. Devoleb is a new Headman track. The original idea was to rework an old track, but while working on it something new came out. The track is an example of Post Punk Disco, 808 drummachines and Basslines that reminds one of Motorik retro futurist funk. Crimson is by Eliezer and Dangur with again vocals from Isadora. This version is a bit more uptempo, again with a tribal nearly ethnic feel with guitars and percussion that slide in and out dubbing everything. Mufti feat Vongold contributed already on REPXI. False Guru has a similar  Mexican underground vibe, dark arpeggio synths, driving drums and  mystic vocals by Vongold.
Headman’s Be Loved original version was released in 2011. First remixed by Daniel Avery on the homonymous single. Modular Project remixed the version again and turned it into a high energy dark Giorgio Moroder-esque interpretation keeping loads of sounds and the poppy vocals from the original. Franz & Shape who have been part of Relish since the early days contributed N.u.m.b.. The vocals are by Matt Southall from the UK band Officers. The remix is by Croatian electronica producer Petar Dundov. He added vocoders and gave a nice retro-italo feel to the original version. Robi Insinna is a Producer, DJ, Visual Artist and INDUSTRIA and RELISH owner.

Back in 2001 he founded the seminal Relish label in direct response to a then-dominant sound in club music. Its catalogue is as vast as it is varied and foreshadowing the music he'd go on to make himself under Headman/Manhead. Some highlights are IT ROUGH, Birth School Work Death, in the early years for the newer period tracks such as Be Loved, Dechainee. He also was busy remixing the likes of Roxy Music, The Gossip, Franz Ferdinand, The Units, Unknown Cases, Gina X and many more.
Relish has also been busy releasing international talents and remixes such as Daniel Avery, Red Axes, Borusiade, Manfredas.


Fast forward to 2018 he's on the move again launching new Project label, Industria with - not quite an album, not quite an EP - Hard Work. The debut was released under Robi's own name.
Industria will be focused more on vinyl releases, but not solely vinyl. The project will encompass all areas of Robi's work and ties together elements of his art and visual design projects and products.
