Well, here we are again...

As the weather gets better, and the temperature rises we all need the correct musical selections to accent the mood. Who better to do this than our friends the mighty mighty DOMply crew out of Rio De Janeiro? A multi-faceted gang of French and Brazilian diggers and party organisers who push a unique style and sound. 

Craig Ouar has been our friend for a couple of years now, and was the best host you could ever ask for on GGHQ's recent Brazil tour, welcoming us into his home and showing us the incredible sights and sounds of Rio and Sao Paolo. Craig and Simon (Who also happens to be one of the guys behind the dope Parisian Bayetë collective) are 2 members of what is a bigger picture (big big love to Giu, Pino, Mauricio, Cleo, Andre, Juliana and everyone else too!) and their 2+ hour mix showcases a true flavour of what DOMply and their incredible parties are all about - an original collection of deep Brazilian and global sounds that are definitely the result of their surroundings and broad influences. 

This is a very special mix for us, and is soaked in colour, style and good feeling. Perfect as we roll into the brighter days!

As one of the brightest new faces in the local Helsinki scene, Carlina Carpelan has quickly made a name for herself. Her sound and selections have a signature feel to them, but still stay up to date with the current sounds of the club world. She describes this mix as a shared mixed platter of both personal and more dancefloor ready anthems. Even though she stays true to the cornerstones and most important elements to her, the newly added warmth and light has brought a completely new in her record collection.

Bristol good friend, selector and DJ Kayne The Hermit has been killing it over the past few years. While hosting the Hermit show - which featured the very best of European selectors, and travelling around with his record bag, he emerged as one of our favorite digger of the current scene.

A couple of months ago, we asked him to takes part in our Guest Mixes series. As he does, he went into hiding and came back with an hour and a half mix infused with Leftfield and Synth-Pop amongst Dub, Bhangra, Downtempo and much more.

Hope you will enjoy this one, as we did, to close out 2019 and welcome another year (and hopefully decade) of wonderful music.

They're also a DJ collective based in Saint Petersburg, Moscow and Potsdam.
