Hello, I’m Marlon :)

Music has been with me since my childhood.
At first through the guitar, and later through many other instruments that continue to accompany me on my path to this day. What once began as classical music lessons gradually turned into a journey into the world of intuitive sounds and movement. Along the way, I discovered that music is far more than melody and rhythm – it is vibration, energy, and the expression of something that cannot be put into words.
In my Ecstatic Dances, my intention is to create a space as free of judgment as possible.
I want to enable people to experience themselves through movement to the music and to enter a deep sense of connection, with themselves and with the community.
I accompany my DJ sets live with instruments such as various drums and my guitar.
After the movement, I like to use gongs, singing bowls, or the guitar to create a short sound journey for relaxation.

Tayphoon’s ecstatic dance journeys are inspired by his Turkish heritage and his love for ethnic dance music from all around the world. 

His sets are characterized by energetic waves which start in a meditative state and build up to an ecstatic outburst in which he invites the inner wild animal to be expressed and natural ecstasy to be experienced. 
He guides the dancers through warm middle eastern melodies, bouncy ethno beats, powerful tribal rhythms and cheeky psy bass drops. 
His sets incorporate a wide range of genres which welcome the dancers to reconnect with their light and their shadow and all the abundant flavors of emotion.

Südpol is a collectively run club & cultural center nestled in a historic building in Hamburg's Hammerbrook district. Known for its dynamic atmosphere, Südpol is a hub for electronic music, featuring deep house techno and trance nights, as well as queer, punk, and performance art events.
