Italian DJ legend DJ Rocca (from the infamous Maffia Club) joins forces with File Under Disco to produce a stunning EP of original new disco sounds. 

As one half of Erodiscotheque alongside disco superstar Dimitri From Paris, and as a regular collaborator with Danielle Baldelli the Grandaddy of the Cosmic sound, DJ Rocca's disco credentials are firmly in place. 

For this release, he captures the classic sound of disco funk on 'Love Power', but gives it a modern production twist and re-spins it for the contemporary dance floor. 
On the remix front, the one and only Dimitri From Paris rolls out one of his heavy-hitting, Prelude-style Nightdubbin' mixes of 'Pizza On Wednesday', which will have your dancers beating the street for more. 
While Dicky Trisco's dance floor intentions are obvious as he hits the boogie button with a hands-in-the-air retake on A Magical Day.

Die Herrschaften von Funkwerstatt haben Zuversicht. In eine Zukunft voller draufgängerischer Lebensfreude, eine Zukunft die von vorne bis hinten tanzbar ist. Genau diese Zuversicht schmettern sie uns mit rollendem Rumms, schweißtreibener Rhythmik und strahlenden Synthesizer-Fanfaren entgegen. Gespickt mit einem romantischen Vers ist Zuversicht der Stoff, aus dem Stimmungshöhepunkte auf der Tanze gemacht sind. Wenn es   genau so euphorisch, aber etwas tiefer und verschlungener sein darf liegt abspielbereit auf der B-Seite ein entsprechender Remix von Mollono.Bass - gefolgt von einer Instrumental-Version ohne jeglichen Spracheinsatz, dafür mit netter, kleiner Acid-Schraube. Damit nicht genug des basslastigen Frohsinns: Funkwerkstatt zünden zur Feier des Tages noch eine Rakete, die kurz nach dem Start in einem knisternden Feuerwerk der Beats und schwerelosen Melodiefetzen auf die Hörerschaft herabregnet. 


The gentlemen of Funkwerkstatt are full of Zuversicht, full of confidence. Confidence in a future that is bursting with go-getting joy of life, a future that is highly danceable from start to finish. It is this very confidence that finds expression in the title Zuversicht, in its driving rhythms, in its bouncy bass line, in its bright synthesizer fanfares. Spiced up with some lines from a romantic German poem this track is the stuff which escalating dance floors are made of. For those who prefer a version that is just as euphoric, but a little deeper and subliminal there's a Mollono.Bass remix on the flip side, followed by an instrumental version without any vocals but with a nice pinch of Acid. Still that's not enough blissful party sound: The Funkwerstatt guys launch a Rakete, a rocket, that explodes into technicolored fireworks and rains down on the listeners in a storm of crispy beats and weightless melodies.
