Multiple award-winning composer, tonmeister and sound director Max-Lukas Hundelshausen studied at the renowned Erich-Thienhaus-Institute in Detmold with Fabien Lévy and the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe with Wolfgang Rihm. His philosophy is simple: bringing out the best of everyone working with him. In any context, with any means. His clients – from amateur musicians to professionals, from Pop/Rock/Electro to Classical and Contemporary Music – praise his empathetic approach, his inspiring musical creativity and the prestine sound quality of his productions. Since Fall 2018, Hundelshausen works in his own recording rooms at Studio Maximedes in Gelnhausen near Frankfurt a.M./ Germany. 2019 he started to work on his doctoral thesis in musicology dealing with archiving documentations for contemporary electroacoustic music productions (i.e. Karlheinz Stockhausen's 'Mantra'). He publishes in science journals like "Rundfunk & Geschichte" and writes articles for the neue musikzeitung (nmz). Hundelshausen composes operas, choir pieces, orchestral scores, chamber music and music with electronics. He is producer of electropop, electrojazz and sound designer for brands like heat_it. Since 2019, Hundelshausen gives interactive workshops and masterclasses about electronic music production and holds lectures about musicological topics (i.e. Jahrestagung der Gesellschaft für Musikforschung).
