This is a track that has been in the works for a while.  Doing a collab is  something Fullyard  @steve-fullyard and I had talked about since last Fall really.  It finally made it and it's pretty far out. Big thanks to his fiancé Night Owl  for the amazing vocals there in the 2nd half of this thing. Submarine has a very un-traditional mid section bridge where I essentially just shout from the top of a mountain top with a growling guitar and a bit of heart.   The change in song style and tempo at this point dis-orient because I felt like walking outside the expected lines of a traditional ABABCB song arrangement. The slow burn build has impact because it smolders, swells, intensifies and then goes boom; literally. In the end, why is the middle so behind?  I just do not know.

My first ever recorded guitar instrumental, guys... well, some years ago :) Come as it was played originally, with some subtle 2016 remastering. One day I played this light piano back loop and then improvised the tune with my Cordoba Nylon String guitar. Added few lines of bass, flute, strings, and percs in the Logic Pro. All played on M-Audio Axiom Pro keyboard connected to Mac. Cordoba guitar (on the cover art) recorded through MBox2 interface, I think, or maybe embedded Macbook mic. Track comes from the older hard drive, with as-is guitar impromptu recording, meaning a vintage feeling. Meaning extra charm, right? 

I posted the track celebration celebrating 5,000 SC plays. Way beyond 3 Million by now somehow, woah! Thank you!

One day, I suddenly start to think that this wonderful song is blues.  I checked the chord progression on the guitar.  I started to be confident that the blues three chords would be a perfect fit for this song.  After finding the three chords that fit this song, I checked the melody line.  I thought it would be good to grasp the vocal melody line in order to confirm the scale that fits this work.  I decided to record the process.  I want you to forgive me for this recording being pretty rough.  Because this recording is just a quick note for confirmation. 
I'm sure it will help you practice your guitar.  Those practicing guitar need to know that blue note chord progressions and scales are quite different from Western music.
Please take this opportunity to check the relationship between the blues chord progression and the blue note scale.
