Today, let's welcome Respira, the alias of Danish artist, producer, sound designer and DJ Markus Trige Frandsen.
Respira creates sonic realms of free form and fluidity, exploring texture, depth, emotion and color of sound. Through the means of both electronic and acoustically generated sound, Respira aims towards union and coherence between nature and technology.

Respira’s creative output is a constantly evolving process, which has been shaped through a vast amount of collaborative projects over the years in the field of music and sound design for various media and activities. This includes music and sound for yoga, guided meditations, audiovisual installations, VR, poetry, performance art, animation film, podcasts etc.

Respira is also co-founder of the label, event production and cultural community Nature Tales in Copenhagen.

Stellar Series Episode 75 - Respira (Filtering Through The Static)

This Microcosmos episode features AEDEM with this mix he compiled from his favourite tracks made mostly in the past couple of years, different genres, different bpm, including some unreleased stuff. Aedem creates psychedelic electronic music since 2004. His music is a vivid experimental electronic fusion based on psytrance, techno, bass, etno, chill-out, ambient, IDM. It's a masterful blend of genres, with its mystical spirit and exquisite sound design, which altogether make his sound recognisable and unique.

Heinrich Lenz is a musician, sound artist and facilitator living in Köln, Germany. His main focus is the creation of music and events for Hypnagogic States, also known as Sleep Concerts. He also produces Ambient and works with sounds and installation. His music is neither fully electronic nor completely physical; as much a story to be told as a canvas for the listeners thoughts and dreams to be projected on.
