After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.”Music is the most beautiful, powerful and inspirational language in the world. Forever changing, forever evolving, it’s like life itself. Each melody reminds us of a timeless moment we cherish or a deceptive illusion we create. Either way, these memories move us and set us free. No matter what our age is or what culture we're from, music is something that has wound its way into our day to day lives. Simply put, it’s a tool of expression. It helps us express our emotions and feelings. If this ‘tool’ is used correctly, it can be the epitome of creativity. When I feel alone, I often convey my feelings by writing. Sometimes however, when words fail, music speaks. Singing takes me to another world; I concentrate on each note, the beat, and meaning, rather than my worries. It’s impossible to imagine a world without music. It’s a religion without any rules or restrictions. We're all connected by this unique ‘tool’ that binds us together as one. Music is something you can always depend on. There will always be a song that that sings your tale, something you can relate to… And if it’s unwritten… well, it’s up to you to write it.

Decora is a rap artist and performance poet based in New York. He is best known for his unique brand of composition which blends electronic and rap music with visual art. 

Since his debut album “Bread and Oats” in 2015, Decora has shared bills and stages with Justine Sky, DJ Khalid, Fat Joe, Meek Mill, Lauryn Hill and T.I, to name a few. 

After performing across the U.S. and Canada, headlining festivals in the Pacific Northwest and New York, Decora received rave reviews by influential media outlets such as NPR, Highsnobiety, MTV, Chronogram, Upstater, AfroPunk, Pop Sugar & Genius. 

In 2017/2018 Decora Sold out Lincoln Center and The Blue Note along with 92  packed concerts across the U.S and Canada.  In addition to performing he began writing music for Spike Lee's Shes Gotta Have It, B.E.T's InContempt and for brands like Jordan, Leica, and Bacardi.

Decora is on track for more success in 2019 as he is releasing an album a month and performing over 100 concerts across the world.  His first debut album of the year is called BETTER which releases on all streaming services on January 16 2019.
