Artist: Armin Bender [Greyscale / Ohm Series / Vuo Records / spclnch / Piranha Siberia Dub]

For Our 16th trip around the musical cosmos we welcome to the controls a German artist who we have been a fan of for some time. With Releases on some of the top dub techno labels including , Greyscale, OHM Series and Vuo Records, we are proud to be able to host this mix from Armin Bender.

Armin is an artist who has been involved in the dub techno scene for 30 years, he is a passionate Vinyl collector, DJ and producer. An understated artist who goes about his work in a quiet and professional manner. 

This is summed up in his short but sweet biography - 

"Mind rave, goose bumps, deepness, groove, a smile on the face. Thats what its all about... No more words necessary, no history, no credits, no stereotypes, just the music that I love, preferably on vinyl... Peace!"

We thank Armin for his contribution to the series, its another fantastic mix filled some some audible delights including tracks from Dana Ruh, Pablo Bolivar, Matt & Mark Thibideau as well as the beautiful early track by DJ Sandwich on OGE White. Drake Lawrence, known by his stage names d.lawrence and Benn Horne, is a dynamic artist, producer, composer, and DJ who brings his Los Angeles roots to his new creative home in Portland, Oregon. As Founder of Pretty Ready To Dance Records, he has released a collection of dub-infused techno/ambient/downtempo tracks since 2019, via Crossfade Sounds, Calm Coastlines, SubSensory, Mixcult, VAST, and Whiteline Music. Biography: 
Electronic musician, producer and remixer from the south of Russia, from the city of Krasnodar. "I have come a long way before realizing that my music can be interesting not only to me, but also to others. During this time, naturally, views on the creative process and sound creation have changed, as has the industry itself. At the moment, I create experimental underground sound under the creative pseudonym Hopler Route. Collaborated with the labels Crossfade Sounds, ECOUL SND, Slope Point, Superordinate Dub Waves, Secret Domain, Echoshapes, hello▼strange, Proton Radio, [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], Techenie, Liberty Rhythm, Seesaw Records. The music closely intersects with many musical directions, the main ones are Dub Techno, Ambient, Deep Techno and in some compositions it even smoothly flows into Deep Tech\Minimal. From time to time, I record DJ sets and mixes to share with listeners my interesting discoveries in the world of electronic music. And this time, at the invitation of friends from Novosibirsk, I could not refuse, and recorded cool mix! Enjoy listening to everyone!

Biography: 
Raúl García aka Retouched was born in Madrid in February 1981, he began his career as a DJ around 1999 and as a music producer around 2007/2008. In 2012 he began his time with Kopoc, a label he runs himself. He has collaborated with other labels such as ODrex Music, hello▼strange, [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], insectorama, Organica... His musical style is Dub Techno although he has another aka where he delves deeper into House music with touches of Funk, Disco and Detroit sound [Cliff Tower]. This time Raul recorded a special mix for the anniversary of the DUBBISM brand podcast.
