We're a 3 piece garage band living in Sydney and we like to play rock and roll and the blues. We're unsigned and broke and we mostly write songs about girls, cars, drugs and surfing. We try and keep it simple, strong and fun, and always, to play for the people.

Ruth Carp and the Fish heads are a Sydney Based Band that play a mix of easy listening music and heavy psychedelic rock. The peculiar blend has often been described as heroin chic and can evoke visuals of drunk days in the park on a sunny afternoon.  



Those that have witnessed a Dave Wells performance are privy to the beguiling power of this most rare of musicians. Few songwriters conjure the emotive force of this songwriter, whose command of both voice and guitar captivates to the point of transcendency. 

On his new eight-track release, due mid-2023, Wells captures the arresting simplicity of his voice and guitar. In the midst of a global pandemic, the Hunter-based songwriter collaborated with world-renowned producer and engineer Nick DiDia (Bruce Springsteen, Rage Against the Machine, Powderfinger), the mutual aim to depart from the robust full-band bells-and-whistles delivery of Wells’ acclaimed debut solo record and strip the songs down to their elemental components.

With a now broader and more stunning songbook, Wells is sure to deliver mesmerising and life-affirming concerts for those lucky enough to attend. Just don’t forget to bring a mate.

‘The Pretty Fingers’ are an Australian alternative-rock outfit, originating from Redcliffe Peninsula in Brisbane.  Their sound is versatile insofar as its sense of innovation; the grit, passion, and rhythm of Australian classic and modern rock is prominent, echoing the spirit contained in the great Australian pub rock bands such as Midnight Oil, Powderfinger, and Spy vs. Spy.  This is complimented by undertones of iconic British alt-rock - from the dirty licks inspired by Kasabian, to the rawness found in Radiohead’s, ‘Pablo Honey’ - which, together form the canvas upon which frontman, and guitarist, Mick Bristow brings an Iron Maiden-meets-Kaiser Chiefs lead vocal that is naturally punctuated by his native accent.

Michael J Brady is a Sydney based musician working as a guitarist & vocalist. He leads the Michael J Brady trio and is member of indie band Jackie Brown Jr.
