Alright, so Davey Asprey wastes no time and kickstarts the 3rd release on Rielism with a bang. ‘Nibiru’ is nothing short of a ferocious trancer, combining vigorous beats with an airy and massive melodic undertone. Clubs around the globe can be prepared for some heavy dancing when this track gets dropped.

FALLOUT is finished. But as I step back, I am ambivalent: proud and insecure, excited and apprehensive, like a proud parent watching his baby all grown up, but leaving the nest and protection of home.

Much of my personal sound and background, developed over the years of listening to and creating music, is represented in this album. It also draws widely from not only music, but also the aesthetics of movies, television and literature I love. But FALLOUT is as much a celebration of where my sound is today as it is a recognition that I will leave part of it behind now that this album is in the wild. After putting together this collection, I know I cannot repeat it, and I have to say good bye to part of myself as a producer in pursuit of newness. That is a source of ambivalence- the pride in sharing something I’ve put so much into, and the recognition that by putting these parts of myself out into the world, I have to let them go now. 

But this is the welcomed aftereffect of pouring so much time and energy into this music. I know that by sharing this body of music with you, I am demolishing part of myself as a producer so I can reinvent myself again, and again.

LA-based songwriter, producer and DJ, Sj, is back with another thoughtful dance inspired record. 'Flicker' channels Sj's past relationship uncertainties through a story that is nostalgic and very relatable to anyone who's been in love. One must listen to 'Flicker' to understand the blend of optimism and uncertainty that lines the lyrics and melodies to the song. 

Sj's first release 'Hung Up' a collaboration between him and Tritonal, set his career off in the right direction with over 30mm+ streams to date. This led to Sj signing to Tritonal's label Enhanced, who have touted Sj as the next big thing for the label. 

Flicker is a song I believed in as soon as I wrote it. My writing process is usually one where I co-write the lyrics, melody, chords, and produce the track. This was the case with Flicker and it gives me a very deep connection to the song. I tend to write my songs with a friend or two and I wrote this one with MikeM and the vocalist on the song, an amazing artist named Svrcina. This was the first time she and I worked together and she immediately became one of my favourite voices. Her tone really helps to convey the emotion. Together we told the story of a past relationship that you hope isn't really over. I wanted to capture the uncertain feeling of wondering if someone still feels the same way about you as you feel about them. That emotion is Flicker. - Sj

Mike Sang - Dusk From The Edge [Out Now]

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
If you can't spot a trend in my current likes it may be because it is diverse. I love listening to all my playlists which contain tracks that I like and if you like any of the music you must thank the artists not me.

Roary is a Nashville based producer, composer, and programmer. His sounds explore the belief that electronic music can have a soul and tell a story. The sonic textures, intentional beats, and unique sound design blur the lines that separate the organic and synthetic. The music of Roary is driven by a sense of energy, flow, and purpose.
