A song that touches on the realm of mental health and how we need to help break down the defence of such a powerful illness. It’s not a box to tick or a problem to solve its far more complicated than that. 
If theirs someone we love or just someone we know or even a complete stranger just shine a little light into there corner. This will let them now they are not alone and we are here to talk and help. 
The song as been recorded with live instruments remotely and me and Sarge  we would like to thank the musicians who got involved.
Sarge as produced, played several instrumentals and liaised with the other musicians to make this happen. Enjoy

John Meets The Devil (Act 1)

This track has quite a story. The basic playback piano, synths and drums have been composed and pre-produced by OESJ (Ralf Wadephul + Peter Pasch) and sent to me to work out some guitars. The whole music was intended as a vocal track with a female singer. 

Before I really started to work with the song I played a bit with the core of the song, and made a whole new story out of it, adding guitar layers and also sung on it. Lacking lyrics I used the lyrics of 'Der König von Thule' Gretechen sung in Goethes "Faust" ...
Of course this version was never meant to be published and was just an 'Outtake' on my harddisk. Untill the other day, where I asked the OESJ guys for the permission to publish it as an kinda 'cover version' of the song ... :)

Rock Flexible - König von Thule (ft. OESJ, ft. Goethe, see description)

The Unicorn in Captivity is a new piece that filled my spirit whilst viewing the massive and breathtaking medieval tapestry of the same name at the Met Cloisters in New York City. The tapestry is dated to circa 1495-1505 and is originally from the Netherlands. I have always been deeply in love and wholly fascinated with all things medieval, and this music is a direct product of this. The tapestry in person is quite esoteric and seems to radiate an ethereal and mystical energy. I almost felt as if I lost consciousness briefly whilst feasting upon it... or perhaps it simply transported me to a different time and place. In this new musical work, I have simply given the themes and harmonies that flowed through my heart that day as I first met the tapestry known as, "The Unicorn in Captivity..." In a way, I suppose a piece of my soul will always be linked with this ancient work of art now... I hope you all enjoy this music and its unique mystical beauty. This version is done on a synthesiser. I feel that the timbre of the synth truly brings out beautiful colours in this work. Finally, I ask you all... what do you see? What does my music make you feel???
