Based in Katerini, Greece, Söhns’s résumé includes releases with organic house innovators Melody of the Soul, Amulanga, and Where the Shadow Ends. Listening to this twelfth installment of Moonlight Mixtapes gives us the feeling that he effortlessly strikes an equilibrium between mind, body, and sound. Forays into the deep-ends of house juxtaposed with playful notes of flamenco guitar, Norwegian electronica, and tribal chant give this mix an air of reverie that’s versatile enough for day-to-night rotation.
