Afro Berlin is a collaboration between Berlin-based artists Hero and TERIYAKI, blending African rhythms with Berlin's underground electronic scene. Inspired by the legendary Aggro Berlin, this EP features two tracks: "SPIELPLATZ," capturing the raw energy of their creative sessions, and "21-44," a nod to Berlin's historic zip codes. This project is a celebration of cultural fusion, pushing the boundaries of Afro-electronic music in Germany.

A esta nueva tanda de residencias se suma @eddyloverxo, Dj, productor y artista multidisciplinario afro colombiano originario de El Valle, Chocó. Esta afro-residence hace parte de los esfuerzos de su colectivo Dembow South Guerrilla por ofrecer espacios independientes para talentxs y potencias de la diáspora afro. 

Baby Mmune 

El primer invitado de este programa es @babymmune, Dj, productor, MC y curador de eventos originario de Lagos e instalado en Toronto. A su paleta de sonidos la define el amor por el bass, las electrónicas africanas y sonidos experimentales del continente y de más allá. Cree en la importancia de curar espacios para que la gente vibre y bailer porque el club es un lugar sagrado. A través de su música busca transmitir un sentido profundo de libertad.

Mariposa Residencies: Afro-Residence by Eddy Lover XO 

@eddyloverxo, Afro-Colombian DJ, producer and multidisciplinary artist from El Valle, Chocó, joins this new batch of residencies. This afro-residence adds to the efforts of his collective Dembow South Guerrilla to offer independent spaces for talentxs of the afro diaspora. 

Baby Mmune 

The first guest of this program is @babymmune, a DJ, producer, MC and event curator originally from Lagos and based in Toronto. His sound palette is defined by a love for bass, African electronica and experimental sounds from the continent and beyond. He believes in the importance of curating spaces for people to vibrate and dance because the club is a sacred place. Through his music he seeks to convey a deep sense of freedom.
