For GATEKEEPER RADIO: I'm Hero, a DJ and producer based in Berlin. My work blends African rhythms with electronic sounds, reflecting a deep focus on pan-African electronic music, particularly Batida. As part of Amour Africain and the SAUTI (sound or noise in Swahili) movement, I aim to push underrepresented Afro-electronic sounds into new spaces, creating a blend that celebrates tradition and modernity. My DJ mix, "SAUTI from Berlin", features a journey through electronic Batida sounds, including some of my productions.
