We are The 10K, a band based in High Peak, Derbyshire - so called because founding members Nic and Jon refined our songs and exchanged mad musical ideas during our weekly runs together throughout the lockdown period!

We met a couple of years ago - Jon has played guitar and sung for many years, Nic had recently taken up the drums, but neither had found a way of properly expressing ourselves musically.  Our first jam together was a seminal moment, we hit it off immediately, initially doing covers and then during the past year of lockdown writing our own material.  We’ve now got a library of our own songs - all written, refined and recorded during lockdown using iPhones and amateur kit.

More recently, we’ve been joined by guitarist Nick.  We can’t wait to get out and about again after lockdown to showcase our music.
