hey! when i first heard this song i knew that i could make some sort of edit with it like this. it reminds me of something acloudyskye would make (stream out to sea).

again, nurture is a beautiful project and i encourage you all if you have not already to listen to all of it. porter's one of if not my biggest inspirations to keep going, and nurture was the whole reason LUIM is a thing.

this song means a lot to me as a creator. i often felt as if my work was unoriginal because i looked up to other artists for my style. that's kinda the story i wanted to tell with this album, that, its ok to have inspiration like that and my work is my own. that probably doesn't make any sense to anyone reading this but those were the kind of feelings i was having for a while. i felt like everyone had their own idea of what their music was and i was just left out. anyway dramatic rant over i had a great time making this and i'm excited to show u what i've been workin' on :>

this release is a milestone for me. it's the first solo-distributed release of mine (so you can listen on all platforms) and its what i consider the best blend between my two styles, the more indie/electronic style of music mixed with loud and heavier distortion/bass. this song started from the piano melody you hear at the beginning, and i just kept the idea going from there. i didn't have a goal with this song, but i'm really proud of the direction it took :)more things like this are coming soon, i'm excited to show you.

so, hey. i'm not really sure where the time went. a lot has changed since LUIM as you can kinda see. i don't mean to sound selfish, but 2021 has literally been my year. so much improvement has happened over time, i started a successful (so far) label, and i'm overall very happy with the work i'm creating. 

this song was produced soon after luim, after i had released 2 songs on the same day and an album a week or two released later. i had so much happening and i just needed a moment to think. that's where slow down came in. i don't even remember how it originated, i just sat down and produced. and soon, this became my style.

2021 may have been 'my year', but i'm just getting started. i hope whoever reads this is just as excited as i am to show you just what i've been working on. it's all super insane and much higher quality from what you've heard.

all nighter volume 8 ended exactly 1 day before i moved out for university
this song was made in a mindset i am no longer in, a vulnerable state where all i wanted was to no longer feel that i was leaving everyone i loved behind. this song is an affirmation that they're still here, they're not far, and i'm still here. admittedly this was probably way too personal for a 24 hour charity comp but i am still incredibly grateful to FORM for letting me stream and express this feeling <3
