Media composer, performing musician, and Live  Looping artist. 

I compose and produce recordings for media post-production, typically to be used in television, film, games, and work together with a number of production music libraries that handle the licensing. This SoundCloud account mirrors the last three hours of my growing production music catalog. 

A rather new outlet for me is to play solo concerts with the Chapman Stick instrument (profile photo) at churches here in Sweden. 

I'm also a dedicated Live Looping enthusiast. Live Looping is the act of instantly sampling and remixing oneself while playing acoustic/electric instruments. It's like performing live electronics without any prerecorded parts, or like Musique Concrète performed in real-time (rather than cutting and splicing audio tape or editing samples). My point is to create the music as I go - improvising sound as well as music and remix treatments in a process of instant composing. My dream for Live Looping is to bridge the gap between composer, conductor, musician, DJ, and remix artist. 

Besides patching live electronics I also play fretless Harp Guitar, normal Guitar,  Chapman Stick, Alto and Soprano Flutes, Tenor Sax, Soprano Sax, EWI, fretless electric Bass, Lapsteel Guitar, and Electric Cello. I tend to consider the whole shebang my personal "meta-instrument".  Mechanical instruments and electronic processing techniques all blur into one fat and messy palette that I use to paint music on the time canvas.

There's just two of us. The Dude and the Little Miss. And - that's all there is to say about that at the moment.

Progressive Rock in our philosophy is a free form and a intuitive way to music and the imaginary land beyond the horizon...(pretentious? Oh Yea!)

This SC-account is a selection put together of some of my rouge songs and pieces in Progressive Rock and NeoProg, as well as some Ambient.

I've put together this compilation as a showcase of what I'm trying to achieve - demos and exercises in style and concept as preparation for upcoming, more "focused" NeoProg projects :-)

"Unsettled" is an art/music collaboration between Dean Watson and Canadian encaustic artist Ron Eady. His painting of the same name is the basis behind the music, the name of the CD and his painting also graces the cover. The entire contents of "Unsettled" are presented here, except for "Underpass" and "Resolution" which will be released in 2011 from a new CD ( also inspired by Ron's work ) called "Imposing Elements".

Concept of Innocence was formed to write, record and perform original progressive rock in a melodic style that takes influence from 70's Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, Rush, Starcastle, Dream Theater, and Kansas, while adding our own personal touch.
As of 2015, Concept of Innocence has run its course. This page, containing the total of the band's recorded output, will remain up as a chronicle of the band's achievements.
Jim also played for the Striped Frogs, who also have songs here on soundcloud.
Rob is continuing to write and record original progressive rock.

A page that started out back around 2010 with Rob posting blues, rock, country and pop tunes recorded with fellow musicians and singers, and a few on which Rob does all vocals, guitars and bass, and EZ Drummer plays drums.
Since 2019, Rob  has been devoting all his musical energies to writing and recording progressive rock. Fewer songs but more elaborate compositions and fancier playing.
