This song is made up of a collection of thoughts that have for years run through my head when I hear of people facing serious illnesses. If it were me, what would I think, how would I cope? I like to be forearmed with information, and I like to plan, but if there is an inevitable I accept it - this is the sentiment I have tried to capture in this song; with the jarring metallic clang (a percussion instrument many of you will have in your kitchens) a half-hushed steady reminder of the blows to come.
