A come back of Hidden Vibes music label with the concept of Web 3.0 music and blockchain tech. It required from us quite a long tine of new tech education, community building and music NFT marketplace development.  And here we are with our first ‘hybrid’ release. 

From now we are building all label’s future music development on the collectible spirit of music. That’s why half of the EP’s we release would be always limited in the amount of copies available for sale. And that’s what blockchain tech allows us to do today. That’s what we call “hybrid” release. The idea behind is to release EP when half of the tracks would go through standard distribution chains but the other half would be available only on blockchain in the format of music NFT with limited copies. 

The first drop is headed by unique and well-known Berlin based talent Cook Strummer. A music riot with Belgian roots famous for a rock’n’roll spirit live gigs. Since his debut album in 2018 on LOK Recordings, he has had high profile support from the likes of Laurent Garnier and Adam Port. For us this is a huge step to bring a big talent from physical world to web3music space. 2 tracks that go as music NFTs are incredible and are must to be collected by electronic music heads. 

Let’s bring back the collectible spirit of music back that allows us to unlock the potential of secondary market sales. Like vinyl editions but in digital format. With the new tech we have a chance to improve the incomes from music sales.

Release info:
"A minimalistic and dark track with a growling bass line transitions into an almost jazz or trip-hop arrangement with live drum beats. Although technically intended for dancefloors and DJ sets, the track's aesthetic is closer to early Massive Attack, Trentemoller or Burial albums than to standard house and techno.

The author was born in Russia, but spent his childhood in Ukraine. Due to the Russian invasion and war he and his family were forced to leave the country. The track conveys feelings of fear, loss, confusion, vague future and lostness, akin to wandering in the fog, where something terrible lurks. However, the track's hero does not succumb to this danger, but stubbornly goes forward.

The lyrics say verbatim:
"When the [thick] fog, 
I feel as if Someone is creeping up on me, 
But I can't help myself, 
And I go deeper and deeper."
