This is my contribution to the first compilation 'GLYPHS : WOOD' that has been released on the label @qeone.rec
I am very proud and happy to be part of this amazing project. 
This wonderful collection of tracks is really unique as all pieces are based on one concept which is completely sound design oriented. The idea behind this release series is to have one material or substance which will then be interpreted by the artists. For this very first compilation the label chose the material Wood.

For today’s premiere, we look to the Italians and precisely in the form of Marco Shuttle. He’s been releasing quite a few tracks via his own imprints, and this release marks his first under the MSP banner. One with a dance floor centered focus. 

Bella Di Giorno is a tribal mover that undulates and grows, the drums providing that all important foundation for the melody to weave through. One that is intentionally muted and restrained, adding an air of mystery and introspection to the track. These muted tones provide a delicate counterpoint to the robust tribal drums, creating a balance between the primal and the contemplative.

Bella Di Giorno and the rest of Marco Shuttle’s MSP01 release will be out on January 16th.

ICI MTN is a live performer and producer, member of the Franco-Dutch collective Plor. Through his creations, he develops a hypnotic and melancholic universe with a deep, minimal and hybrid techno aesthetic.

Close to sound creation and electroacoustic music, he maintains a porous link with these influences, which naturally lead him to integrate a sensitive, poetic dimension into his music.

He considers this first release as a very intimate world, in which he has tried to place all the tracks likely to introduce the listener to his meditative vision of dance music.

The intention is to embrace a wide range of aesthetics, such as hypnotic techno, deep percussive rhythms or mental grooves, while focusing on complex atmospheres and textures. It's a notion that brings a lot of sensations as a listener, so he wanted to transcribe them as best as possible in this debut project.

Vardae - Dance with the spirits EP [KON21]

Perpetuum was created during a creative challenge in December 2023. The then-over 150 members of Aedi were invited to pair up with someone and create a continuous track without breaks in the arrangement.

The submissions, as well as the album title and artwork, were compiled in an anonymous list and voted for collectively.

Released under the May full moon 2024.
