Bare, The Cross was written to take the high road towards the people in our lives who always ask for advice but never seem to listen. The music was written as a mantra to calm my wife down during severe turbulence on a flight. But, the lyrics spewed forth from pure annoyance. It was recorded in Nashville, my new home after a career in metal in Los Angeles.

Hifi Americana was born out of the coming together of friends with eclectic taste and the realization that within that diverse array of influence exists a lot of common ground. Take the sometimes eccentric story telling of Nelson, Waits and Mitchell, the lush harmonies of The Beach Boys and Eagles and sprawling arrangements of E Street Springsteen and you have music with a rootsy foundation and engaging themes that plays equally well in dive bars and coffee shops or stadiums and amphitheaters.
