Probably my favourite tune on the compilation..or at least the one that will likely linger for me the longest. Worst Friends are made up of Slow Hands from the Wolf & Lamb crew outta NYC and Tom Croose from surfside LA. When chillin with the latter in LA last year i was playing some tunes to Mr Croose who, if you haven't checked his stuff already, makes exceptional laidback haze induced space float. Together they turned this new wave Aussie surf jam into a classic you'd expect at the tail end of your favourite Spike Jonze skateboard flick. Hello my friends,

When creating this track, I wanted to establish the feel of someone that is searching for the love of their life. When we are in a relationship with someone, we hope that that person is our soul mate but most of the times its just a glimpse into what we are searching for because things fall apart for various reasons. This track is about that search and yearning to find that special someone.

With this track, I feel I've leveled up a bit when it comes to sound quality of a mix. I decided to take a more subtle approach with the sound design and honestly, I feel it paid off in spades. 

I hope you are doing amazing! If you've found the love of your life, hold onto them with everything you have. If you haven't, they are out there and when you finally meet, it will be absolutely fantastic. Until next time my friends!

Whiteface Mountain is the 5th highest mountain in the state of New York, and one of the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains. The summit offers a 360-degree view of the Adirondack Park. On a clear day, the skyscrapers of Montreal Canada are viewable, at nearly 80 miles away. Whiteface was the main ski venue of the 1980 Winter Olympics, and is still a US Olympic training site to this day. Whiteface offers the largest vertical drop of any mountain, east of the Rockies.
