Our first EP of 2025 comes from our long time friend and supporter, @babeldubs , from Northern Virginia. First appearing on our Tales of the Emporium 002 compilation album, Babel adds this two track EP to the catalog with heavy sub bass with mellow midrange synths to create both a meditative and danceable vibe. The lead-track by the same name is deep and spacious, echoing effects to create an atmosphere as the meditative bassline rides. The second track, "Mimic", is danceable but heavy, aiming to get the bass face engaged while you move to the catchy tune. Whiteface Mountain is the 5th highest mountain in the state of New York, and one of the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains. The summit offers a 360-degree view of the Adirondack Park. On a clear day, the skyscrapers of Montreal Canada are viewable, at nearly 80 miles away. Whiteface was the main ski venue of the 1980 Winter Olympics, and is still a US Olympic training site to this day. Whiteface offers the largest vertical drop of any mountain, east of the Rockies.
