About Alyosha Barreiro:
Musician, producer and Mexican sound artist, with more than 26 years of experience. Alyosha graduated in 2001 from Berklee College of Music, Boston, with honors with a double major in Music Synthesis and Music Business. On returning to Mexico he began his solo project "Alyosha Barreiro," combining his original music with acoustic, ethnic and electronic instruments, as well as live multimedia.
In 2009, he created "Prehispánica Electrónica," a show that combines the energy and magic of the ancient Mexican culture with contemporary electronic music inspired by the Mexico of today. Alyosha Barreiro has presented his various projects in important venues in Mexico and internationally, always identifying with his roots while opening to the future with the latest technology, managing to generate a unique and highly innovative style.
