„Heaps of Love“ is not a label in the classical sense, it‘s more an initiative to help artists grow. The process is simple: the head of Neubau record label Florian Stöffelbauer aka Heap find music (or the music finds him) and he wants to support and get it distributed to download and streaming portals for the artists who like the idea and want to work with him in that way. These releases will be tagged with „Heaps of Love“ so anyone can easily check what Austrian based activist been promoting so far.
And for second 'HoL' Florian invites russians Soft Metal with this two psycho thriller track 'Moonrock' EP.

We are proud to present the nineteenth instalment of our Disco Suicide mix series by UK-based Stevie R (@stevie-r) & Parisinos (@Parisinos)!

Stavros Potamitis (aka Stevie R) conjures emotion and weaves sonic tales by combining the rebetiko folk music of his Greek homeland with analogue electronics. Working with a range of collaborators he offers forward thinking, avant-garde music and daring, theatrical live performances that freely blend and cross over between musical styles. As well as being a musician, producer and performer, Stevie is a lecturer at Point Blank Music College in London, runs his own record label Inside Out Records and is A & R of Chapter 24 Records. Always looking to push musical and sonic boundaries, he is just as relentlessly focused on moving things forward in his own work as he is committed to supporting the next generations to break through.

Born and raised in Nicosia, Cyprus, Constantinos Parisinos moved to the UK in early 00’s to study medicine. Electronic music quickly formed a gateway of expression. An obsessive collector of obscure melodic gems with an inherent attraction for repetitive sequences and slower, hypnotic rhythms; an enthusiast for the unconventional and the diverse underground music culture. 

Apart from his solo endeavours, Parisinos has formed a formidable sonic partnership with Stavros Potamitis (Stevie R). With a focus on blending Greek folk music (Rembetiko), mesmerising vocals and middle eastern scales with slower rhythms, acid lines and powerful percussion, their distinct sound captivates and hypnotises dancefloors. Together, they also release more experimental music under their more enigmatic alias After Altamont. Stavros Potamitis and Constantinos Parisinos are also harnessing their vision of electronic music through their label Inside Out Records. Aims for next year include a new live act and album.

Parisinos has worked with leading underground artists including Lena Platonos, Tolouse low Trax, MR TC, Anatolian Weapons, Zombies in Miami, A Strange Wedding and many more...

A skinny stray dogs with ribs sticking out digging their noses down the frozen ground in the wasteland, ill-looked man in his overalls drinking a little bottle of vodka, looking at the electric train creeping past him, the flickering sign of the “Milena” barbershop reflecting in a deep puddle on the roadway, a piece of an advertisement for the purchase of hair barely holding on to a reinforced concrete fence, a tired woman in an old terry dressing gown tries to smoke on the balcony, but her lighter does not want to light. We have prepared today's mix from Jackit for such moments, when existence picks you up like an empty can of Baltika beer and carries you past the surrounding reality with a terrifying ringing.

Jackit is our dearest of friends from Kaliningrad, whose releases and mixes have a therapeutic effect on the guys and girls in the Swiss mountains, on the Spanish coast, in the Lithuanian province and many other places, helping us all to cope with the merciless hurricanes of existence.

You fall asleep on the open deck of the ferry to the Kadıköy pier. All fades away in blackness separating reality from the world of dreams: Seryozha, your children, a simit in a plastic bag, and a sore knee due to the endless climbing uphill on the Buyukada island. You suddenly turned into a mackerel trying to escape from the strong hands of an elderly fisherman on the Galata Bridge. He carries your shiny little body to a dirty plastic bucket with a missing handle. It's getting really scary, but that feeling suddenly goes away as soon as you hear Süheyla's mix for 5/8: radio playing from a car passing over the bridge. You look at the minarets, the setting sun, the water surface of the Bosphorus, tourists passing by, pinching their noses in disgust, and humility spreads over every squama with the thought that the beauty of your whole fish life is hidden in its transience.

Today's mix was made for us by Süheyla, an aspiring DJ from Istanbul, whose love of combining disco with trance and tribal motifs with downtempo makes not only the audience at home shake their hips, but has already won the hearts of the people from Berlin.
