Celebrating the 10th anniversary of 'To Pimp A Butterfly', a Block Party mix exploring 50 tracks from the catalogue of Kendrick Lamar, aka K-Dot, aka Mr Morale, aka Kung Fu Kenny; representing Black Hippy, TDE & pgLang.

Compton-born Kendrick has firmly established himself as one of the greatest rappers of all time, becoming the only hip hop artist to win a Pulitzer Prize, as well as multiple Grammys, and hundreds of other accolades over the past decade. He’s released seven solo studio albums, multiple mixtapes and had numerous features, as well as headline Glastonbury Festival and perform the infamous Superbowl half-time show, twice.

His third Top Dawg album 'To Pimp A Butterfly’ was released March 15th 2015, executive produced by Dr Dre. It fused jazz, funk & soul, and included production & features from Flying Lotus, George Clinton, Ronald Isley, Pharrell, Thundercat, Bilal, Anna Wise, Snoop, Rapsody, Pete Rock, Knxwledge, SZA, Kamasi Washington, Robert Glasper & Terrace Martin, to name a few.

With success critically, commercially & culturally, it became his first UK number one album, and features in the top 20 of Rolling Stone's 'Greatest Albums of All Time'.

This mix also features clips from his live in-store performance at London’s Rough Trade East back in 2012 (where BobaFatt was Kendrick’s chaperone for the meet & greet!)
