Dreone is a sort of metaphor/vessel for my late friends Jacob and John, my childhood best friends/brothers who both made the choice to end their lives prematurely and left this earth to journey into the stars. We were inseparable. For me, their spirit now lives on within the Dreone system, exploring deep space, learning the cosmos and re-gaining sentience which will include senses humans can only dream of. Several other friends in our circle left shortly after them and more continue to leave to this day. Their memories and lived experiences too, are uploaded to the machine so I don't feel so alone...

Is the building tension the start of a greater problem or will a conscious attempt to change the course of life in this neighbourhood stop the chaos from spiralling out of control?
