They belong to one of our favourite DJs in Berlin. Only by accident they became a duo. Berlin’s infamous underground spot Golden Gate offered both DJs two solo slots. 
Heiko and Martin were fighting each other over who should be allowed to close the party. 
They ended up playing back to back for 8 hours and since then call themselves: ’Kotellet & Zadak’
- or as they describe themselves in one of their highly entertaining online mixes:
’Hallo. Mir san Kotelett & Zadak. Des is der Sound from Outter Space.’
Besides their legendary late night appearances in Berlin’s hot night spots they also run their own underwear fashion brand - and sometimes they fire out dancefloor bombs like ’Crave Dave’, ’Sons Of Attica’ or ’Panotica’. Welcome back Heiko&Martin!

Over the last couple of years he's been churning out one quality release after another on labels such as BluFin, SexOnWax, Wide Angle, Kittball, Stripped, Natura Viva, MNL and so many others.

2018 will see him launch his own label, but to keep you syked with anticipation the Toronto based DJ and producer drops an upbeat arpeggiator driven dance floor pleaser here with 'Apathy'. The infectious bassline is sure to work like a charm, a sure crowd favorite this one!

'Apathy' is our final single release of 2017. A proper way to end this we think! But of course we always end the year with our annual Manualism compilation, so be sure to keep an eye for that one as well.

Paul Hazendonk returns on his own Manual Music imprint with the final part of his Signature Series trilogy. Yet again presenting two brand new originals that cross over between various genres within the melodic electronic music spectrum.

First up it's 'Unagi', a massive and intense peak time dance floor bomb that will leave you with the feeling that you've been slapped in the face... in a good way! Paul's trademark arps build up the tension towards a roaring ravey bassline only to revert back to emo mode during the beautiful piano break until it's all systems go again. Proper madness this one!

The accompanying piece 'X Is Forever' is a more heady and intelligent piece. Starting out with a minimalistic arrangement and wobbly bassline, a mysterious vocal gets introduced early on which turns out to be the trademark element of this song. Of course the ever present arps make their introduction as the track gently builds on towards it's climax. A lovely piece of work to end the Signature Series trilogy!

Coming from a progressive hotbed like Buenos Aires, means the self-confessed audioholic Mariano has a steep hill to climb to be successful in this industry. Fortunately, he is made of sterner stuff, and is highly regarded by his peers. So it’ll come as no surprise his trademark smooth grooves are signed to a glittering array of high profile labels including Global Underground, Sudbeat and Plattenbank to name a few.

‘Astros’ is classic Mariano. Rolling bass and skippy percussions soon making way for muscular synths and glittering arps. Forever growing in tension, the break offers momentary respite before we’re whipped up into a frenzy with the main drop. On remix duties, fellow South American Blancah takes things deeper, more visceral and more deliberate. ‘Enamur’ on the flip is a more guttural groove. Stripped back, with razor sharp focus on the growling low end, melodics organically fade into view adding to the drama and tension
