Our last DSS of 2023 comes from the Belgian city of Antwerp. Yogg is known for his unique sound design, impact cuts of body-slamming techno with deep synths and sleek rhythms. He released on various labels such as Non Series, Illegal Alien Records, 30D Records, Counterchange, and others.

For DSS 079, he took a different approach, taking down the tempo and starting with some dub related tracks, building towards UK influenced sound to conclude the mix with trippy and breaky techno.

For our 51st episode of FRiends and Family, we're thrilled to host a brilliant recording of a two hour set by @nathanielyoung who makes music and DJs as Guilt Attendant. Nathaniel runs the @uxz label alongside @lycheefrut , and they are also a brilliant designer, working as the creative director for @daisrecords (check out the insane Juno X merch collaboration between Dais and @rolandcom on their website linked below!!). This is two hours of techno as both escape and resistance, recorded live, March 7th, 2024, at Mansions in NYC for the UXZ-03 release party and label night a few weeks ago.
