Summer is flying by and it's time for our next compilation again. This time we have put together a large selection of artists for you whose sound we have been liking lately.

Downtempo is a very diverse music genre with many different styles and directions. As always, we want to address all these influences we like with our compilation and bring them under one roof. So there should be something for everyone on this release, whether to chill out on an open air or inside in the fog of the night.

We are very grateful to have represented so many different and talented musicians on our label and we would like to thank all artists involved. Especially our Mastering Engineer Haunted Water & Kilian Van De Water for the gorgeous Artwork again.

Tijn Driessen's third EP flows in five tracks, each with a unique sound, narrating the story of the seed of life, together with dreams of what could be. "In Bloei" begins with “Kiemen," a raw and passionate process. The sounds feel unpolished, earthly - playing with the listener's attention - is something coming - or not at all? "In Bloei” brings hope with a warm yet strong foundation, flowing into ‘Zonnevoeding,’ which signifies the crucial role of light in fostering the growth and nourishment of leaves. At the edge of the last sunrays, the sound fades into “Verwelking," a track that evokes melancholy with a touch of tenderness and reverence for finitude. What remains then are “Wortels”. Thus the circle is complete. Eternally infinite.

Dear friends,

It is with great pleasure that we can present to you the debut EP ‘Lorbeerblatt’ from ‘Hermanski’ from Cologne. Some might remember him as one half of the DJ and producer duo ‘Boozooks’ who left the club scene for other projects several years ago. His duo friend Max is on the road now with the post-indie band ‘Stress’ but Hermann was drawn back into the vast possibilities of electronic soundscapes.

So ‘Hermanski’ was born, a new approach that explores creative pathways beyond the musical past of the artist still remaining somewhat attached to them. As he was part of our latest Peace & Love Compilation #6 we are excited to share now four tracks with you that walk on the edge of distorted basslines and groovy beats. Expect to be taken on a journey of light-headed heaviness with analogue synth sprinkles on top.

All the revenues from the release will go to “Strassenwaechter” an organization that supports people who are homeless or without a permanent residency in downtown Cologne.
