Because there is very little we can individually do, our common goal is to raise money for various charities, so they can do the work we can not.

We are particularly looking forward to our next release, as it also represents something of a personal turning point in terms of sound.

Our Swiss buddy @planetcaravanofficial contributes two very stable original tracks, which @pullichomba and @at_ric have made their own in a splendid way, in order to give the tracks, which are already very suitable for the dance floor, their own touches.

The title track of the EP called "Circuit Bending" is characterized by a dreamy and bouncy sound that fits perfectly into our loot scheme of the last years.

The second title of the EP "A Glitch" convinces with snotty vocals and a dark groove, which you will hear more often on our label in the future.

Ruben Coslada fasziniert uns mit seiner neuen EP "Archipel", indem er den Wechsel der Gezeiten in ein groovig knarziges Gesamtpaket komponiert hat. Wir spüren in "Calima" dem sandigen Ostwind der kanarischen Inseln nach. Die Sicht ist leicht getrübt, das Licht rötlich gebrochen und die trockene Luft fegt über die Archipelgewässer.
Wie in einem luziden Rausch webt Dani Posadas Remix eine weitere Ebene aus knackigen Wüstenklängen in ihre Interpretation,
während Matija uns mit einem entschleunigten Remix tiefer ins mäandernde Traumland entführt.
Ebenso wie die Logik des Archipels auf die Vielfalt der verschiedenen Inseln verweist, werden die vom Meer belebten Räume in dieser EP im zweiten Track "Taoro" versinnbildlicht und in einem ständigen Fluss der genüsslichen Verlangsamung zelebriert.
Denn auch in der Philosophie stellte Gilles Deleuze über das Archipel fest: "Die Welt besteht [...] aus fließenden Beziehungen, aus Inseln und dem Dazwischen, aus beweglichen Punkten und gewundenen Linien."

Iran includes an overall area of 32,500,000 Hectares of deserts spread in 18 states.Dasht-e kavir and Dasht-e Lut, including an area of 360,000 km², are the most famous deserts in Iran and two of the top most interesting yet undiscovered places in the country.  Lut desert is one of the hardest areas on earth to travel through. Some parts of this vast desert are completely devoid of living creatures including bacteria.

For down.tape°5 we have put together 12 tracks which are all special in their own way.

As always we dive into the different worlds of downtempo, but this time every single track has an individual dance floor character which will get your feet to work. We want to express our longing & love for our usual normality and hope that the dance floors will be filled again in 2021.

A big thank you goes out to all artists involved, including Kilian Van de Water for the artwork and Haunted Water for the mastering. We hope to make you dance again with this compilation, whether alone at home or together on the dance floor.
